From what I could surmise from the photos provided on Amazon, the strips can be connected to one another. I have no answer for your second inquiry.

Thanks. I didn’t realize they could be connected to each other.
The smaller hole looks to be about 7mm.

FWIW here’s the other larger hole. Looks like 13mm.

Can someone please explain/show how these led light kits run from the left side to the right? I'm wondering if I need to buy additional wire?

Also does anyone know the size of the holes that Ford suggests to use, "push pin zip ties"? I took this pic earlier. Will get out a caliper tomorrow.

I ran mine under truck. Didn’t need any extra wire. Been meaning to take a video, I will soon, just been rainy.

You're welcome! I didn't realize they could be connected either, but your post motivated my curiosity, so thanks!

installed new bed LEDs today. Fairly easy, but did take a couple hours to splice and run wiring. Cheap and nice lighting though.

They look great! How did you attach both the LED strip and switch to the spay-in bed lining?

lights came with their own switch. Wired with the pigtail that came with truck. Ran one side underneath truck by spare tire/tailgate. I haven’t yet tested how long they stay on. I’ll try it out.
Where did you find the pigtail in your truck?

I've got the same kit on my truck. I used the DIY FLEXBED harness that Ford sent with the truck. Just positive/negative wire which isn't the same circuit as the OEM bed lighting.
Where did you find the wire harness to connect to the bed ponytail? I have hybrid and did not see the harness supplied by Ford on/in my truck.

Mine came with the truck in a plastic bag? Check the glovebox maybe?

Were you able to find any push-style zip ties for the larger 13mm holes? Or did you find another solution? I couldn't seem to find any bigger than the 1/4" or 7mm sizes that seem the most prevalent. I was able to mount the lights along each side except to the larger holes on each side in front & back (4 total). Your measurements are super helpful thank you for taking the time to do that.

I did find some on eBay but they're expensive to get anything close to 13mm & in larger quantity than I would like.

Did you ever get a reasonable answer to your question about how the lights are connected? If not, the lighting strips specifically for truck beds include the extra wiring. You run those connecting wires under the rear bumper. Included directions.

I ended up using these. I believe they are in the green holes I pictured above. Another thought might be to use a drywall screw anchor that expands in the hole.
