I bought the XLT, with no packages or options other than the receiver hitch. I sourced an RV "porch light" and a piezo touch switch from Amazon for $30 total an wired up a bed light.
The piezo "z type" switch is desired because it reverts to the off position when power is interuppted. So if you turn your bed light on and the circuit times out your bed lights will not light back up when you start the truck. This is perfect. Also the switch is waterproof and has no moving parts.
The porch light has an aluminum housing and is also waterproof.
