Ford sends out (blanket spam) email -- "An Important Update About Your Order"

Yep I got the email but it was so poorly written I thought it was junk/spam mail. No understanding of what was changed to my Maverick. Hybrid LXT order placed 11/15/2021 (last day to order the hybrid)

I think this is hilarious, people have been whining incessantly about not getting communication from Ford and now that they have they're pissed off with the communication. This place is pure entertainment for me. I've been saying all along, what's an email going to do? How is it going to improve your situation? It's just more time Ford employees waste NOT doing things relevant to actually making vehicles, sourcing parts, fixing REAL problems.

Does anyone know what does that mean - They are going to take away our order and sell it and those who placed are at reset?

No I think it’s a glitch or just a global email. Mine was shipped three weeks ago and I got one too. Few other people in this thread said the same.

This is what I got today

"Thanks again for placing your 2022 Maverick LARIAT order. While we’ve been busy working to get your new vehicle into production, we’ve run into a few delays.

Sometimes certain features or options can lengthen the time before a vehicle is scheduled for production.

We know there’s a lot of anticipation when it comes to getting into a new vehicle, so we’ll make sure to keep you updated. Once your vehicle is ready to move into the production schedule, you’ll be hearing from us again."

This is totally confusing. I was expecting the shipment to arrive next week to pickup -

I absolutely do not understand this email. It says in the subject line that there is a change to my order.

There is nothing at all in the text about a change.

Then the header says there is important update about my order.

There is nothing about MY order at all in the text.

Who puts these things together? Don't you think at least one literate person would read it before it's sent to thousands of people?

Edit: all they had to say was "update on maverick production"

It reads like something a Legal team edited so heavily that meat of the message is gone.

Yes, I just received my email at 10:49 pm.
I ordered my Maverick on June 23rd, 2021.
Funny thing is I canceled it on November 5th and went down to St. Clair Shores, Michigan and bought almost the same truck I ordered only with a sunroof. Then I came back to Saginaw Michigan and cancelled my truck order. I'm going to guess they never cancelled it if I'm getting an email but it's going to be late. So yes I never ever got a build date

I actually received 2, one at 9:23 and a second one at 9:29.

Wonder if I have more than one ‘in the system’? It did take my dealer 10 days and calls to the district level to get the configuration the way I wanted.
