I have liked this one when seen on pictures. I am not terribly keen on the Ford emblem in the corner. Is that a decal or can it perhaps be buffed off?

I like that one. It’s $20 more than the WeatherTech. I wonder if it’s worth it.
Their both well know quality manufacturers, I like them both. It may be my eye's or the angle of the pics online, to me the weathertech might be thicker?

Not without damaging it - honestly you don't really see it unless you're looking for it - it is a very muted branding.
Funny, I had to take a look at it again on the site to realize it doesn't even look like this! It is actually just a Ford logo etched into the plastic itself (same size/location) - very very muted, and not like the rendering in the website photos.
Perhaps others can confirm theirs is also just the etched logo.
Yes and I don't know how it works on the Mainland but here in Hawaii we get to use the Salesmen's 23% employee discount which is way better than Ford's 15% online discount

I have used Lund on all my trucks, and they are made of some tough plastic. I've seen rocks bounce off them that would take out a windshield. The bad part is they look good for about three years and the UV from the sun makes them shabby looking. I have tried to buff them out like the headlights but still didn't like the outcome. Rain X helps with keeping the finish for a few years.

One other thing I have noticed, the aerodynamics of the truck changed and the air over the roof sandblasts the paint off the front edge of the roof, but the windshield isn't taking all the sandblasting.

This is my first experience with them. I just completed a full body ceramic coating and hope to keep that up for a few years anyway.

I got the one from Lasco Auto Parts, but I'm trying to return it because I discovered a hidden warning to avoid automatic car washes. Had I known that little piece of information beforehand ...
Anyway, returning it is complicated. They do not give you a return ticket number or even a shipping label. Also, shipping is insane. The item cost me around $100 and they want $153.00 to ship it back. Ridiculous. I was charged $18 shipping. They want you to call them to and enter a promo code to get a shipping discount. Stupid. Stop playing games and charge me the same price you paid to ship it back! Freakin' run-around is a terrible way to do business. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing anything from Lasco again.
I had a Weathertech flush mount bug deflector on my Ranger and loved the fit and finish.
Decided to go with the AVS Aeroskin deflector from realtruck.com for the Mav. Should be here next week. Hopefully it's just as nice fitting.

I installed the Lund from Ford Accessories and I didn't even notice the Ford Logo it's so tiny and lightly etched. Certainly not a big deal.
I have mine on my Shadow Black Mav and you can barely see it, but it's nice protection. I've used these Lund deflectors and while they don't do much to keep bugs off your windshield. They do prevent rock chips from that portion of your hood.
