Once you have taken delivery and start driving around, get ready for the #1 comment/compliment you receive from others is some form of "Love the color!". Have had mine for 2 weeks and that's what I've heard the most from friends, family, and admirers.

Right now, I'd be happy to hear "hate that color!" because that would mean I actually HAVE my Maverick.....

We are picking up our Hot Pepper Red hybrid Maverick XLT TOMORROW at noon!
That will be 9mo + 5 days since we ordered. My Irish luck finally worked!!

Am I the only one that pulled off the Fx4 stickers? I think they make the truck look cheap and cartoonish.

I probably should since I lowered mine. Speaking of cartoonish, your wheels look extra small.

Never ever thought to smoke the oval. That's just fantastic. Love the look. Excellent!!! I did a custom AWD logo, stylized on the FX4 font. In fact, the A is just the F with the right side closed.

yeah they are the snow tires I bought for the 2019 Escape. I will replace them next winter and I will be mounting the originals this weekend

My EXACT order and received a confirmation on 7/20. I bet the delay is allocations!

Talk about our lucky day!!

We are HOME with our new hybrid Maverick XLT!!! We took a nice drive and LOVE this truck! Comfortable, quiet and we got 44.5mpg on 87 octane, including driving stop and go, interstate and back roads. Plus, all the parts work. That is, we must have gotten all our chips, because the seats do heat up. Still learning where everything is and how to customise the screen, etc. But so far, all good! Here are some photos. I added the close up to show how orange the hot pepper red looks in the sunshine. Much more than I expected. At first I didn't love that, but in just a few hours it won me over.

The HPR is a stunning color. Everyone who's noticed my truck and spoken to me about it ALWAYS raves about the color. One thing I like about HPR is that it seems to change shades depending on the source of light (direct sun vs cloudy skies vs shaded sun vs nighttime lighting). Those shades include straight red, orangey red, and copper.
