My "order" at the dealer was on July 27 for a hybrid Lariat with bells and whistles. I followed this site since then. On October 21, my salesman tells me I have to come in and bring a deposit and fill out an order form and to do it as quickly as possible. It didn't take me long to figure out what was going on.
After I did that, I got a confirmation from Ford on the next day that they had my order. So, thanks to my dealer, all that time waiting and thinking I had an order in was wasted and put me at the back of the line. Now, I am waiting to see if I get a truck at all. If not, I will go shopping but not at that dealer.

Oct 25 XLT Hybrid Lux. No word from dealer. Was hoping 2022 spring now hopping 2022. Might start looking at ev only vehicles if gas prices stay this high or get worse. With current gas prices I could rock a model 3 for price of a maverick. Down side is no utility.

On 10/5, I ordered an XLT Hybrid with a hitch as the only option. Confirmed that day. Nothing since. I'm hoping to receive mine by July, but we'll see. My dealer is smaller, so allocations will make a difference in my case.

10/25 and still waiting. I'm not too upset yet, my dealer had given me an estimate of late March thru mid May as an estimate before I placed my order. Admittedly that's obviously not going to happen since I haven't received a VIN yet and people just getting Build notices are getting dates in April, so I realize I'm not going to see it by mid May. The question is ... will I get a MY22 or will I be pushed off. And If I'm pushed off, how far beyond the October date (currently scheduled start of production) will it be before I get scheduled. 😒

I had fun with that phone system too, and then it said hold time is longer than expected , but I was able o talk to someone in about 8 min. ...
Same here for me this morning ... about an 8-10 minute wait before a very polite young lady answered and looked up my order. She says everything is good, my order is confirmed and they are just waiting for the parts to build my vehicle. Interestingly she didn't ask for either my order number nor sales code, she looked it up using just my name, address and phone number.

... Im gettin to old for this stuff!!I have ordered at least 10 new vehicles through the years and never had an issue like this.
I know what you mean. I've bought five new vehicles since the 1980s and this has been a very different experience. The Maverick (assuming I receive one) will be my sixth new vehicle.

My order is simple, an XL with just a moonroof with copilot. I just dropped SIBL since it keeps popping in and out of the constraint list. Unfortunately, I ordered the Maverick through Chapman and I'm sure there are hundreds before me so it's gonna be awhile. Don't know about Chapman's allocation but it's both depressing and hopeful when I see other people get their build and delivery each day. As long as Ford is moving or filling these orders I know it will be my turn one day. Hopefully it's this year.
If you ordered from Chapman Horsham, hang in there, definitely not hundreds in front of you.

I'm keeping score in this thread, and as of the end of Feb, they have only ~131 unscheduled hybrids left. If their allocations continue at the same rate they've averaged for the past 4 months, us late Oct folks still have a very good chance of getting MY22 Mavericks (albeit not until the late Fall of this year).

I'll update that thread again when their March allocations come out.
