With an IPhone and the Maverick car play I was also having the same issues but it was minor since I use it all the time and audio issues seem to disappear since I started my 1 year subscription with ATT hotspot but the audio did reappear when my iPhone took over the internet connection when I was in the mountains. Last night though I had a an update to my Maverick Sync system and I don’t see the difference on versions of software so I wonder what the update did??

I was wondering about the software and searched for an update this afternoon and it didn’t look there was an update for mine.
I was surprised that I had an update !! I was on the Ford webpage and lookup for an update and the webpage says that my vin number didn’t have any updates. Oddly with the Maverick hotspot any updates didn’t go through because it was looking for an Wi-Fi connection. I used my iPhone and no update when through but when I used my home Wi-Fi for the first time and search the software update , it started to download!!

The latest version is G1.8.0.1_RC15_R21461a
FYI to anyone updating you may have to hit ā€œcheck for updatesā€ twice. The first time it just updated the ā€œlast checkedā€ date and time, I did it again and now it’s downloading.

I can confirm I originally had a version lower than the post I’m replying to!

edit: Interesting, I just completed the update process and it’s still on G1.7.2.1_R21301a with no further update available.

further edit: The version number updated the next day and I’m a happy camper.No noticeable improvements with this version, the call issue on CarPlay is still there.

How long did the update take you? Mine has currently been sitting at 0% for like 10 minutes right now with a full internet connection.

How long did the update take you? Mine has currently been sitting at 0% for like 10 minutes right now with a full internet connection.
It took about 20 mins from downloading to installation. Over my home Wi-Fi oddly again .. it took a day for the revision to show up!! From 1.7 to 1.8 !! and after a week I do noticed my sport mode is differently tuned?!!! Can that happen from a update?

I had the same experience as the other reply. Took about 10-20 minutes with regular/steady movement on the progress bar which was nice to see. After it completed, the actual version number didn’t change until the next day though, not sure why.

I’ve been trying to update my software for over a week and it will not update. I am at version 1.7. When it goes to download the progress bar does not move at all. I am connected to the internet with good strength but progress bar does not move. A few times after about 30 mins it will just time out and go back to audio page. Has anyone else experience thus issue?
