SYNC 4 swap for Maverick XL / XLT (non SYNC 3 systems)

Ok got Sirius icon to show but when I tune to it nothing plays. I’m wondering if my acm isn’t going to work. I’m going to keep trying but it may be an acm issue

Well my new ACM did not fix my issues. This is pointing me to believe that my APIM is faulty (which is possible). The APIM will not even report the software version number. I am going to get a new nav APIM just like @propp2531 to replicate his results. If I can, then I believe we have a fully functional Sync 4 swap.

One thing I forgot to mention I can’t get the rear view camera to work either. What setting did you update in the apim to enable that? Camera and Sirius working makes this 100%. Everything else is working as expected.

What is your rear camera doing? Is it displaying a blue screen or just not doing anything at all?

If it is not displaying anything, first make sure line 7D0-01-01 XXXX-XXXX-*X is set to 8, 7D0-01-01 XXXX-XXXX-X* is a 2, 7D0-02-01 *XXX-XXXX-XX is a 0, and 7D0-02-01 X*XX-XXXX-XX is a 2.

Ok cool. It wasn’t doing anything at all. I was trying to find the code to change but wasn’t having much luck

I’m still having some issues with the camera. If I enable to camera it breaks xm. I’ll get it sorted but once that is complete it’s 90%. Wireless CarPlay isn’t working but and the track on xm isn’t showing in the instrument cluster but other than that all good

Remember the Sync 4 database I posted on the first page of this thread. That should help get Xm and the camera working.

Latest update. Camera works. Sirius works. I had wireless carplay working then it just stopped for some reason. It wont let me enable to the app projection which is needed for that.

Two other issues that Im having some trouble sorting out. When using the steering wheel to scroll presets it skips the sirius channels and sirius wont display on the instrument cluster. I think both of these are related.

I ran out of time for today and Im going away for the weekend so I wont be able to work on this until monday. @zackmd1 I hope you have a little better luck than I do this weekend. Id say Im about 90-95% done and this is ready outside of the three issues I listed.

First off that you for your work! the XM isn't all that important for me, but wireless car play is.

Second, would you have any idea how the add the Wireless charging pad to a XLT hybrid?
