When I orders my XLT with LUX package in January the SIBL was off the package and was automatically replaced with DIBL on the order screen
Me too.

Another clusterf#$% from Ford!

My dad bought a used American car back in the 80s b/c we didn't know any better. It's been imports ever since until now. If/when i get my Maverick, it will be one and done for me.

But if i get pushed to MY23, i'm putting in orders at 2 or 3 biggest dealerships in the Dallas area and Long McArthur. When I'm dropping $32k i better get what i want.

I said it in another post, I’ll repeat it here, especially in light of todays news. Only about 50% of the remaining 2022 orders will get built. Ford has basically said they aren’t holding over 22’s past the switchover date. In fact, it sounds as if you will need to reorder.

It sucks, especially since you have no idea if you’re one of the 50% that gets one, or doesn’t. The only thing you can really do is adjust your package but that isn’t even a guarantee. Meanwhile Ford dealers are earning interest on your deposits (if required).

Look at your DORA (dealer order acknowledgement). That will show if it entered Ford order system as a retail order. DOES NOT INDICATE IF DEALER COMPLETED COVP!
Tried dealer unresponsive.

I am confused, why then for scheduled orders (in production 2/10 but no built email) would my tracker delivery date change from 3/24 to 6/22? when the only option I had on list was SIBL? So to late to remove it? even though it may be built? Trying not to worry..LOL!
Your likely built and parked in the lot waiting for chips of some sort...

I wish I discovered this site before I ordered in October then I won't have been blind when going into dealership. Looks like I will be ordering August 16. From a different dealership for sure.

I knew this truck was too good to be true. I ordered a XLT hybrid with LUX and 360 at a small local dealership. So I now have 0 hope of getting a MY22 I guess I'll leave the order until they officially contact me and cancel it but I do think I will find a larger dealer near by to order a MY23 when the banks open

What is the point of Ford’s recommended change No.9? If you ordered a Lariat Lux package (which requires Co-pilot 360), why would they want you to drop the Lux package but keep (add?) CP360, when they say CP360 is itself a constraint; and if you ordered a non-Lux Lariat with CP360, they recommend dropping CP360? Seems like they recommend swapping one constrained build for another (unless they are implying that CP360 is not a severe constraint, and if you got it, no harm in really keeping it.)
Also, all those constraints which are available as Ford accessories, like bed extender or bed cover, why not just offer a voucher to pick them up from the dealer when they are available, rather than not build the vehicle at all.

Anyone know when the 2023 Ranger Order banks open?
The just stared producing the 2022 model in December. There is no date listed for a final order date for the 2022 so the 2023 order banks have a date of TBD at this point.

To me, this is one of ford’s biggest mistakes. Ford tried to take the aftermarket out of the picture. Greed. The other issue was the configuration of the packages, again greed. You want this? Then you have to have this!

Packages should have been xl, xlt, lariat. No bedliners, no tonneau covers. On a “budget” truck, simplicity should have taken center stage. Instead they added layer upon layer of complexity.

No priority, no price protection from previous my order, no guarantee of dealership Allocation for your order. Clear things up?
This letter from Ford has no guarantee's attached. You could drop every constraint but even if you did Ford could still not build your unit in 2022 and you may still have to get in line again for a 2023...
That’s what I’m thinking too. If I drop Lux and 360 I want I build date in return at the same time.

So do I need to worry? Or since I’ve received a build date, They WILL make mine MY22?

But thinking about a minute, I doubt I hear from my dealer anyway! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Got the call an hour ago from my dealer with the request to drop sibl. Big thanks to Tim Bartz for sharing as much information as he can with us Maverick fans. I definitely would’ve been caught off guard and probably a little mad about changing configuration had Tim not been talking about this for months. Ford should bring him on as a corporate marketing liaison.
Tim has been fantastic IMHO. Much appreciated...

This is the first real Ford distributed statement I have seen that comes close to admitting that not all 2022 model year orders will be filled. I feel like it still isn't QUITE there with an admission, but it is pretty close! Not that I am happy to see it.....

I mean....I don't expect them to say "exactly 3,549 Mavericks wont be built in the 2022 model year unless specific constrained items are removed", but their word choice still leaves much to be desired.
Most of their suppliers probably can't predict availability of specific parts. When taken as a whole from multiple suppliers, how can you expect Ford to do it?
