Ford Mudflaps in wintery area with heavily salted roads?

So the standard Ford mud flaps worked pretty well at keeping the crap out?

I bought universal plasticolor ones. Idk about the standard or ones the sell for the maverick. If you check out pictures the ones they sell from dealers seem like they don't cover this spot as good.

I’ll find out tomorrow when I do my reverse LED bulbs also and get a look in there. I’ve not driven without the mud flaps I’m back. Just taking out the taillight housing and being able to see the ground screams cheap, cheap, cheap to me. I’m sorry, these are still $25-30,000 vehicles, supposedly. That’s a lot of money.

This is a definite problem Ford created. Salt and grime will eventually destroy that open area in that panel. I'd like to find a good work around for this too

Few weeks in now with my Rokblox on and NO SALT or GRIME leaking anymore. Ford definitely created this problem but make sure to get a good aftermarket set of flaps. Love em.

Get it with their mini ratcheting screwdriver wrench. Makes it real easy to put on. The tool is in the accessories section.

Another round of reasons to buy RokBlokz mud flaps. I can’t help but be happy I picked them up during their black Friday sale. I live in Arizona and won’t see much snow but do plan to drive to Flagstaff every winter. Don’t really want mounds of dirt and mud up there either.
