Anyone else have their driver side rear passenger door interior door handle and lock lever stop working? I had the child lock on forever so don’t know if that’s permanently tripped or if the cables/rods disconnected from the handle and lever. The outside door handle and electric lock still...
So I’ve been griping over the fact that the only way I can listen to music in my Maverick is by either streaming or listening to the radio. Has anyone figured out a way to make hooking up a thumb drive or an MP3 player actually work in their truck? I’ve tried the thumb drive deal and every time...
Has anyone tried hooking up a dead battery to their Maverick to disable the auto start/stop? My wife’s 2020 Explorer’s battery went bad and we had the garage not reset the auto start stop after putting the new battery in. Works great. The auto start/stop is not a gas saving feature and serves me...
This is not an issue. Nothing wrong at all. Just curious what that noise is after shutting off the engine and after turning the key on after starting the truck with the app. It sounds like the clutch brake on an old radial saw. Turbo stopping/engaging?
Yup but less work than modding the switch/installing one of those warranty wrecking devices. And actually pretty easy wiring the battery cables to a bad battery with Jumper cables.
Has anyone tried hooking up a bad battery to their Maverick to disable the auto start/stop? A buddy’s Ford had a battery than went bad and it disabled this feature and when they got the new battery put in the garage didn’t reset that. Works great. Wondering if this works on the Maverick?
Tried that and it was an absolute dog. 15-20 minutes to index every time I start the truck even if I’ve left the SSD in. Incredibly long times to search for a artist or album. Not all albums make it to the index. I’ve done a couple updates to the infotainment system so maybe I should try it again.
No. I’m looking to connect my DAP to the maverick. It works horribly slow when connecting to the usb ports. Same with thumb drives and only a quarter of the tunes show up after a good 15-20 minutes of indexing. Damn the auto engineers for doing away with the 1/8th/3.5mm aux jack.
Has anyone found a Bluetooth transmitter that will connect to the maverick and allow you to connect a discman or DAP to a 1/8th jack and transmit the audio to the trucks audio?
I bought this one and it wasn’t compatible with the maverick.
Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver, 5.0 Bluetooth Audio...
I hooked my Maverick up to my wifi, did the latest update on the radio settings and it stopped doing this. It was definitely something glitching in the trucks infotainment center. It only happened on CarPlay in my truck not my wife’s explorer.
Yeah this has been happening to me with the phone already unlocked. If it’s locked it’s a 80/20 gamble with 20% of the time it will fire up Apple CarPlay while locked.
Anyone else having these weird issues recently? Within the last 5 days when I first plug my iPhone 13 in I get this weird location on google maps. I can’t navigate to anywhere on it until I open the app on my phone.
Then while playing Spotify the sound will randomly flip between sounding good...
Trying to find out what’s the best fuel to use in my Maverick with 2.0 EcoBoost/AWD that will yield the cheapest cost per mile for commuting back and forth to work. My commutes 31-34 miles one-way depending on which route I take and it’s roughly 18 miles highway and the rest rural and urban mix...
Anyone find a Bluetooth transmitter to plug their 1/8th aux jack players into to transmit to their Maverick that actually works? I bought one on Amazon that wouldn’t appear on the available devices to connect to in my radio.
man I didn’t, but I noticed it was Alot worse when I was using Eco mode frequently. I stopped using that and started driving with more authority and it’s kinda gone away.
