Similar to my thoughts. Figured there ought to be something that can fill the gap, when using those mud flaps.
I caved in and bought the Rokblokz. Got their little ratchet driver tool too. Be handy for alotta stuff.

Here is some pictures from my adventure in -20 cold weather I managed to as well. Had a lot of stuff running under my rear light. These appear to have much more coverage than the Ford accessories ones. Not a big fan of the shiny washer but it will do. Maybe black undercoat in the spring. It was possible to use the screw/lock nut on the driver side..but the passenger side I just tapped right into the metal. The plastic shroud I didn't want to screw with when its so cold. I was f..ING cold also. Didn't want to tap into the light body without something behind but should hold solid. I used the 2 factory bolts on bottom. Drilled a hole to put bolts through. Top drivers side one has a washer on both sides. Between screw and odd clip I found. It
tightened up pretty well.. just put it through where the factory plastic clip was. We will see how it holds... If I have issues I'll just tap into it with a self threading screw.

Still a small gap there .but if any gets through it should hit the metal that runs flat towards the light.

Just installed my Rokblokz today. Real easy installation and definitely covers the big gap on the rear drivers’ side wheelwell. Definitely get their little ratcheting screwdriver too. Makes it real easy for the rear flaps.

Question: those pics are from your hybrid Maverick, correct? I ask because that looks like a lot of surface rust underneath....

Heres a view from the tailight. I put in some Led tailights today. Crazy how much stuff got up there. Only a little hits the bottom of the body now that mud flaps are on. Working good so far.

So the standard Ford mud flaps worked pretty well at keeping the crap out?
