$19.70 improvement to my Maverick XL Hybrid tailgate lettering

I ordered these on eBay for $19.70. They took about 45 minutes to put on. After the third letter, I determined if you wet the medal and letter, they are easy to put on and move around.

They look very good on the truck.

Yes clean 1st with an alcohol patch and then spray with a Dish soap watered down solution so you can move the letters around and then use a microfibre to carefully squeegee out the excess water

PLEASE post pictures after you put the letters on. We are getting the same color and I want to highlight Maverick on the tailgate. Just haven't figured out what would look right.

This is exactly what I want to do to mine (whenever it arrives) how did you put the old school maverick emblem!? Is it a decal? Do you have the emblem on the front too!? Sorry i just got super excited. It's the first mav i have seen with the 70s emblem and it looks awesome. Great job

Yep, first thing I did to mine as soon as I had it home. Ordered online for about $20 and had it days later. High quality vinyl.

It’s actually a decal I got on Etsy attached to a black vinyl base my company makes (no different than any other black vinyl wrap film). Yes, it’s on the front also. Not sure yet if I’ll keep them or not. Here’s another pic.

My truck is dirty, but got her cleaned up today. Should have taken another picture. But here is my tailgate lettering. Stainless Platinum! I like it! I still need to get all that dealership crap off my truck too. I am doing a promo for them on Tuesday and after that it will be gone.

Wow! I feel validated now!! First VB with the MATTE black lettering I've seen so far. Looks great! Can't wait. After this, I just need to find a set of the FX4 black XLT rims and I'm all set. I have the grey XLT ones sadly.

Looks great. After looking at many VB Mavs with lettering applied, I like these the best. Love the flat tri-fold tonneau cover much better than my Ford soft tonneau that sticks up 1-1/2".

I ordered black matte raised Maverick lettering from Etsy last Friday. I know I will like the subdued black on my shadow black Maverick. Did the same years ago to a 94 LT1 Vette and it looked great.
