$19.70 improvement to my Maverick XL Hybrid tailgate lettering

I ordered these on eBay for $19.70. They took about 45 minutes to put on. After the third letter, I determined if you wet the medal and letter, they are easy to put on and move around.

They look very good on the truck.

Nice. If I add letters I’d opt for vinyl over tape too.

working in tradeshows I know vinyl can be a pain but if applied properly it’ll stay for years!

Definitely makes that tailgate pop with the brand! I opted for plastic ABS lettering. A bit more, but no worries over tearing. Easy install.

Yes clean 1st with an alcohol patch and then spray with a Dish soap watered down solution so you can move the letters around and then use a microfibre to carefully squeegee out the excess water

I put the matte black raised letters on my VB last weekend. I really like the contrast on the blue and the consistence with the trim and bumper.

Wow! I feel validated now!! First VB with the MATTE black lettering I've seen so far. Looks great! Can't wait. After this, I just need to find a set of the FX4 black XLT rims and I'm all set. I have the grey XLT ones sadly.

Now don't forget use alcohol wipes on the truck lettering 1st then use a watered down dish soap solution so you can maneuver the letters around till they're perfect then gently squeezing them out with a micro fiber cloth
