Oh man! It sounds like your dealership is clueless! Did you get a build sheet?

I was a reservation lead, and it was after they cut off hybrid orders. They showed me someone else's order number, and let me assume it was mine.
They were just going to string me along until they could put in a dealer order for the hybrid.
Wish I had reviewed all the posts in here before I ever started this.

Did you get a Confirmation email from Ford? If not, it's time to check in with your dealer.

Yes, but that isn't the end of the story. There is a second system the dealer has to put the order into to give it any chance of actually being scheduled.

I have been assured that has happened. I'm placing another order at a different dealer before Thursday just to be sure, but my dealer does seem to actually know what they are doing. Time will tell I suppose.

I have at least 5 Mavericks on lots or in transit within 100 miles of me that are Blue Sticker Mavericks.

Something I didn't consider is that if a dealer has some retail orders and gets allocations but the retail orders (green stickers) don't fit the configuration the region is looking for but the dealer has stick orders(blue stickers) then their stock order could get scheduled.

This is not aimed at you Tim, but FORD. If that is happening, customers are getting screwed. That truck WOULD fulfill a customers order. I don't subscribe to the "exact configuration" idea. Dealer got an XLT lux 4k, customer waiting on a XLT 4k.... Shouldn't be a hard choice. That said, I do have a tendency to simplify things. Regardless, what wasn't supposed to happen, is happening.

Absolutely dealer stock is being built. Anything built with a Blue Window Sticker is a dealer stock item. Customer Orders are Green Window Stickers.

I special ordered my XLT and was always in the build process and window sticker was blue???

Thanks for posting this. I just reached out to my local dealer to make sure I am approved in ROVP, I don't want to miss out. I just submitted my order last week so assuming my dealer got/gets me into ROVP I will come in under the wire.

If you received your ford email then you should be in

Ultimately, I view this as good news for us with orders in the system. This indicates that Ford knows how many they can build and are not overcommitted. Waiting on my hybrid.

Every time I see talks about ROVP it makes me nervous. I never received the Ford email. I do have a DORA and Ford Marketing confirmed my order. I have checked the dealer's website and they do get Mavericks in with green special order stickers so it appears they know how to order.

My salesman put the order under his own email so I never received the order confirmation, I asked him about it and he forwarded me the confirmation email that he received. A week later my Maverick was scheduled for production and I received the email to my own address.

That's what I believe happened. This dealer likes to communicate by mail and not email. They mailed me the DORA instead of emailing.
