Just purchased this for under $20 for anyone else interested. This seems to be a pretty generic gentex mirror that comes standard on numerous vehicles. Auto-dimming, homelink, compass.

Thanks for the info. I have an XLT w/Luxury Pkg on order. I just ordered the mirror. Hopefully, someone who has this mirror and installs it will give a play-by-play on installation and let us know any possible hiccups.

Why won't it work?

The mirror mounting arm will likely not be long enough for the mirror unit itself to clear the black camera module.

Don't need to pull power from the fuse panel you can easily tap a 12v source (like the overhead lights that are right there) and splice into it. Very easy.

Can't believe the price of the mirror though. These usually go upwards of $250.

No no no. This is a Kia OEM part, produced by Gentex (a supplier to MANY automakers). I've owned several cars with this very mirror, including our G70 right now.

This is not a "get what you pay for" - this is a great deal.

While I also bought one and think it’s a good deal for an auto dimming mirror, the MSRP on that site showed as only $25 lol not sure why it’s so low compared to what we’re using to seeing.

Yeah, many (though obviously not all) of the auto dimming mirrors on the Kia site are 3-digit prices.
