Not seeing Mavericks in the wild... why not? How about your community?

I’m having the exact opposite experience. I’ve had my Maverick just over 1 month now. I’ve driven it 1500 miles around a city (suburbs really) w 195,000 people. I’ve never had ANYONE ask me about it. Not at lowes, the gas station, the gym, the grocery store…
Same here except for 1 neighbor whom is a car guy. But that may be a good thing if it goes under the radar. Less assuming then less worry a jut people touching it or breaking into it or messing with it etc imo.

I’ve seen a total of 5 in the wild in the Houston area (7 total including the two dealership ones)
Each were different colors
Velocity Blue Lariat and Iconic Silver XL both in my hood (Katy)
Cyber Orange (I think lariat but he was flying and I didn’t see him in time) with Colorado plates and a white XLT on I-10
Then an Area 51 XL across the street from my work

Just because we are all eagled eyed and on the lookout, the reality is you'll not see very many Mavericks for several years.

How many Hyundai Velosters have you seen on the road lately? There are 200,000 of them in the US.

How many Honda Elements have you seen? There were almost 350,000 of those sold in the US.

How many Honda Ridgelines? 450,000 sold in the US (new+old).

Our perception of a hot vehicle, and the reality of total production are not equal! For that matter, how many Broncos or Bronco Sports have you seen so far? A handful, if that I'm guessing.

It'll be years before we see the Maverick with any sort of regularity.
Yo I’m in bowling ky I see literally see a bronco in the wild everyday I’ve only seen 1 maverick in the wild. But it may just be where you are.

Folks, there are 340 million people in America. How many vehicles are on the roads? 80 million ? 100 million ? 125 million ? So far, customers have received very few of their orders ( less than 50,000). The chances of seeing one are VERY small right now.
I’ve seen a total of 5 one was wild all the others were at dealerships

I saw a guy driving one on my route to work (North Houston/Woodlands/Conroe) and we were pumped to see each other. I get asked about mine all the time though. People really seem to like it. For whatever reason, the Maverick hits different than say the Sport trac etc.
They are still very new and limited, give it time LOL

I have yet to see one in the wild. I have seen several at dealers but none on the road. In a few years they are going to be common as crap.

I have lots of people stop and ask me about my Ranger. Generally, the questions go something along the lines of "Dude, can't you afford something better than that relic"? :ROFLMAO: :D What can I say?
