Not seeing Mavericks in the wild... why not? How about your community?

I haven’t had one random person ask me about my Maverick.

I haven't either and have had mine since October and I am totally ok with that. I don't really care for some random person asking me questions about a thing I purchased as I'm trying to go about day.

Maybe I'm just old and cranky now.

I live in a small town in the midwest. My dealer tells me that there are four Mavericks on order and none have yet come in. I have not seen a one anywhere and I have been looking.

The only two Mavericks I have seen so far include 1 that was on a cargo hauler on I-95 in Maryland back in November, and the demo/manny at my dealership.

When you search the dealer site, only 2 show as listed:

And yes, #2 is mine. Matches the VIN on my W/S. I forget how many they said they had ordered, but it wasn't anywhere near as many as the Broncos.

I am on the other end of this. I have the only two I've seen. I came out of Home Depot and a guy wad taking pictures of mine and had a bunch of questions. His was a July order and had a build date of 12/20 or Jan 20. Said he is a member here also.

Hey Trey, that was me who was talking to you at Home Depot about your Maverick. It was just an insane chance at luck that you pulled up while i was picking up some paint supplies. I had ran over to the Tuscaloosa Ford Dealership just that morning just in case they may have one on the lot waiting for their owner to pick up. No such luck. The son of one of the guys i work with picked up a Lariat Ecoboost before Christmas that someone didn't want from there. I was glad to finally see one in the flesh and really apricated you taking a few minutes to talk to me about it. It confirmed some features and performances i was curious about and made the long wait a little bit easier. My tracker finally updated to show production dated 01/10/22 with an estimated delivery of 02/20/22. I hope that ETD gets sooner but i do have the spray-in bedliner that maybe why that's so far out. Fingers cross.

Also, I am really sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you and your daughter are safe.

So we live in a mid sized city in a populous state with 5 Ford dealers within 30 miles of each other but I have only seen 7 actual rigs and only at the dealers.
Today I spotted this fresh off the truck Hybrid Lariat at a dealer awaiting its prep time... first eyes on a Lariat and hybrid for me personally. Never have seen a truck out on the road. I have seen and touched an XL, XLT, AWD and now this white Lariat. Like I said 7 total in the mix.
I am a car/truck guy and can spot vehicles way off........ just not seeing many yet. I know they are being built and sold but it’s odd for me not to see someone out showing their new truck off
I feel deprived...., yet hopeful when deliveries ramp up.

I’m in Florida gulf coast not a single one not even at dealer. Can’t wait for mine

I have seen a couple at dealerships when I was looking that were being delivered. I saw one in the wild at a grocery store but didn't get to talk with him. Other than that.. crickets.

I saw 2 prior to me taking delivery, they weren't Hybrids. Today as I was coming home I look over to merge and to my surprise, an Area 51 Hybrid XLT was suddenly right beside me. She looked at me, looking at her and we both, nodded and smiled while we crossed lanes to take our exits. I know it sounds silly but it was cool...to see another Hybrid right next to me

Have seen 5 at my local dealer in Northern Kentucky, one of which is mine.
Have not seen any others in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Saw a Rapid Red Maverick on I95 near the Connecticut shoreline. It is beautiful. That's the only one I have seen running free. The rest were at dealerships.

In your fleet I see a VW Bug listed.....
Whenever I would drive mine I usually got a nod or thumbs up and then usually a few questions. Funny, the VW was ubiquitous and impossible to miss not that long ago.... now it’s an eye catcher.
Don‘t drive a Model A Ford if you don’t want to be photographed, video recorded or chatted up....
