The good news is that such volume will be noticed by companies like general motors or Fiat Chrysler and hopefully they can offer in 2-3 years a similar small pick up ..that is a good thing if we appreciate what the Maverick represents.
The bad news is that by the time Ford delivers the first Maverick to customers we may have reached the 100k-110k reservations that is the annual volume expected. Ok they are not orders but realistically I have to prepare myself to wait for mid/late 2022 for this vehicle delivered. (Mid July reservation)

Yeah a better telling measurement is those reservations that actually turned into orders. But it's sort of like saying the starting price is $19,995 when we all know that doesn't include the destination charge.
