Hello!

I completed my mission of finding an incoming Cactus Grey XLT Ecoboost Maverick coming to a dealer two hours away from me. I gave up the XLT Luxury package since the truck is coming with the 400W inverter option and it will be Line-X by a dealer partner. I wanted heated seats and the dealer is having a company install that option on the drivers seat for $299. Has anyone else had this after market option done by the dealership? If so how long did it take and how do you like the seats now?

The truck was built on 12/13 and the modules are reporting. He told me his system shows it in transit and should be here in the next few weeks. Thanks!

$299 is steep but if you don’t have to do anything I guess it’s worth jt
I just got my heated seat kit for $50 and I’ll be installing it soon

After all said and done I am still saving $2k from not getting the XLT Luxury package so I don't mind. I'm also spending $600 for the Line-X which isnt that bad. Getting more info today but they told me the truck is mine and sent over the paperwork.

What kit are you getting? Ford OEM or aftermarket? Do you have a link?

For some reason I don't care about heated seats. So I got one that you plug in for $19.00 for the passenger side for my 93yo Dad when I take him out.

Nice. This is what I'm planning on doing with my XL eventually. Did you order them from Amazon? Let us know how the install goes!

Good luck with the mods! Are you planning to document/how-to? I'm doing the heated seats and CC.

Well my truck was confirmed to be built on the dealers end on 12/21! Its showing as "In production" on the ford tracker, either way looks like I'll have it sometime in early February!

Same, the lumbar is sorely needed.

Also has considered waiting until I do leather seats cuz I heard Katzkin can do them all at the same time

Katskin is $1500 for the leather and $1500 for the heated/cooled add on so about $3k total.
