Going to use my Fordpass points I get for my Lariat lux
FE for Floor mats, window deflectors, tailgate assist and lock, mudflaps and maybe hood deflector. Also thinking about a dashcam (front ant rear)
Man you only get the equivalent of $210 for getting a maverick

A magnetic USB charging/data cable makes it much easer to use android auto.
I tried one of those for a bit and unfortunately I think some metal particles ended up being attracted to the receptacle and shorted the pins when connected to charge. Killed the USB data functionality on my phone. So here's hoping the AA Wireless kit works good.

I have been using one in my VW since October, without any problems.

I like this idea. I may purchase after I get my truck.
Except for the color (Area 51) you have my not built yet Maverick. I ordered 9/18; dealer changed me from a Priority 19 to a 10 in November.. but Ford keeps saying “No Truck For You!”.

I need a CD player Installed somewhere. Yeah, I have hundreds of CDs. I could also use a tape player as well.
Same here. Have like 500 cds. got so many that sometimes I've forgotten I already have a certain CD and buy the same one again. Then I find out i already have it. Dammit! I just spent $20 on The last starfighter soundtrack off Ebay and then found out I already had it. Don't even remember buying it. Doh!

Anyways, I have an external CD disc drive that I plug into my USB port for my Windows notebook laptop, because, being a notebook, it doesn't have a built in drive. Wonder in you could plug one into the Mavericks USB and use it to play CD's? But yeah, if not you can just download songs on a USB flash drive and play it. I have a CD player in my 2018 Escape, but I can also plug in a flash drive and play songs off of it.

Have you contacted the dealer again. Do you have an order number and sales code number on your DORA?

You should just use a USB drive! You can load them on as mp3 or mp4 files and fit tons of CD's on one thumb drive. That's what I have done. It works in my Focus so I'm pretty sure it will work in the Maverick.
Reall, why not load them on your phone

My phone has a lot of pictures ( grandkids, weddings, etc) and I can't part with any ;) and limited space. However I usually use pandora anyway:).

Thanks for the info. I've also checked on the ACM but didn't want to spend the kind of money necessary to replace it, nor the APIM since none of it has been confirmed. I asked the vendor on Amazon if they needed to program in SiriusXM to enable the feature. They said yes, and they needed my VIN. Their positive response was a little too easy for me, so I'll wait and let someone else confirm either replacing the ACM or APIM, or both.

If the Commander Touch works as advertised, I'll be happy with it. The screen is small, but it is bright and easily read. We'll see.

The ACM is easy to get to. The trim that surrounds the center dash vent and the AC controls easily pops off. Of course you have to remove the ACM to get to the APIM.

I had more trouble getting the bin behind the 8" screen off, then discovered that I didn't need to.

Anyway, I'll be posting my results later this week and keep looking for concrete answers for upgrading. Thanks for your efforts. Everything helps.
Oh wow I didnt realize they made it that easy. The Bronco sport and escape you have to take half the dash off. This changes a lot for me since getting to everything was the biggest hinderance for me.
