I ordered my 2022 XLT as follows
2.0 AWD
Luxury
FX4
4K Tow
Co-Pilot 360
Tri-Fold Tonneau cover
Floor liners
Bed mat (I carry a generator and put one over the spray in liner to keep oil/gas etc off of it)

My dealer was told that the truck had to be built with a drop in liner and no spray in but wasn't told why. Has anyone run into this?? I am waiting for them to get with the rep and get back with me. I am not interested in a plastic liner at all.

it changed several weeks ago. Looks like they are running out of spray in material.

Seems to me like they should change the website and for sure should discount the package. It is going to cost $625 to have it sprayed by Line-X. The truck won't be built for months so I don't really understand how they can ship it with such a large change from what is included in the package I ordered.

I ordered the same setup (without cover, or floor liners), and the dealer also said the same thing. But my dealer discounted the spray-in-liner, and offered to add it when the truck gets here for $599.

When did you order? If it was before the cutoff you are still eligible for the SIBL that the XLT Lux package offers.

It was ordered last week and accepted today. Dealer was unaware of any restrictions according to them.

Oh, sorry man looks like the drop in what you are going to get then. I agree that Ford should change their website to reflect the change but they haven't. They have decided to leave it up to their dealers to inform customers of the change which IMO is a shitty thing to do.

Like others have mentioned perhaps you can work out a deal with you dealer to take the cost of the drop in off the sticker price when your truck arrives.

Yes. I'm getting the drop-in. I ordered on Dec 9th. Yes, they already took the cost of the drop-in (sorry I said spray-in), of my quote. They said they'll do the spray-in for $599; not sure if that is expensive or not, as I have never done one. I guess I can take it anywhere for the spray-in once it gets here.

This is probably related to the vendor that was doing the SIBLs and drilled holes in the fuel tank. Maybe they haven’t found a new vendor that can handle the orders. Personally after seeing the hard drop in bedliner I probably would’ve preferred that to the SIBL. I have the SIBL in my F250 and I am not that enthralled with it. I do agree that an adjustment should probably be made but the way the dealers are feeling with the demand and the ability to increase their profits that probably won’t happen.

Likely the spray in bedliner would delay production, possibly co-pilot & tonneau cover as well. At least you could add the tonneau cover & spray in bedliner at Dealer after it arrives.

They're not running out of bedliner material. The supplier was drilling holes into the gas tanks.
