Is this a scam or just a great price?

Thanks guys I'll keep this in mind. Do you have any recommendations for strictly MPG?
I didn't keep my Fusion long enough after I put the CrossClimate tires on it, but MPG is one of it's focus points. Great traction and lots of great reviews, very mild hum that was barely noticeable during all electric driving so they are also quiet. I didn't put them on my Maverick as I wanted a more truck looking tire and hope to get it off the pavement at some point. I haven't been camping in decades and am starting to miss it. Thinking back at some of the places I drove my Fairmont with very street focused tires in my dumber years I don't know how I ever made it back home.

I bet the sale is legit, and the price is attractive. I have no opinion on those tires as I have no experience with them.

BUT, find out what it will cost to mount and balance them. That service is not cheap, some shops don't want to handle your tires if you did not buy from them.

Rotation and re-balance service is not cheap either.

I buy tires from Costco and take them in every 5000 miles for rotation and balance (included in purchase price)

The last set I bought for our CRV wore down pretty fast and they credited more than half the original cost on a new set of tires (the records they kept showed we did proper rotation at recommended mileage)

The appeal of low cost tires without support is not the bargain it appears to be.

If you are a Costco member don't forget to price them as well. They alternate brands that are on sale every month or so. Once you figure in the mount, balance and warranty I found Costco to be the better price.

Chinese Tyres are synonymous with

Yah yah...heard it all before. Even MIC still have to meet the same specs as non MIC.. if I am not mistaken these are MISK.

Good Ole Michelin, Bridgestone, and Goodyear produce some of their tires in China.

Michelin CrossClimate 2's are $230 eash at Costco. And they run good rotating deals monthly on Michelin/Firestone/Bridgestone tires, with free lifetime service and rotation. Just a thought.

Not aggressive enough for my liking
I purchased a set of PREDATOR NEW MUTANT AT's, 235/60R18, from WALMART with their mounting and balancing package. Now at 17,000 miles on tires and 17,500 on '24 Maverick Lariat AWD Ecoboost. Love these tires! I would recommend without hesitation!

You want tires that have a low rolling resistance if MPG is your thing. Only issue with those tires they tend to not perform well in heavy snow. I don't have a tire to recommend but if you search that term you'll get plenty of results including reviews and best of lists.

The tires are being sold by a third party on Walmarts website for vendors! Walmart is NOT SELLING THE TIRES!!!!
That's just a bit funny since Walmart offers a warranty on the tires! Just saying ...
