I didn't realize the radiator and intercooler are smaller on the Tremor than standard EB Mavericks. The intercooler I have on my truck is 240% larger than stock. Sounds like it wouldn't fit on the Tremor. 🤔

[/QUOTi beleve
i believe the radiator size is the same the intercooler mounting it just different on it , but the cooler is definitely smaller and a different configuration , the driver upper bracket/hanger doesn't line up at all with the new cooler and it seen to be recessed for clearance

what cooler do u have? cvf ?

I threw out the factory Intercooler the third day after buying my Maverick. A good upgrade to minimize the likelihood of timing being pulled due to high intake temps.
I use a modified and tuned 2.7 with a CVF inter-cooler. The IAT2 temp that is critical is 115-1120 degrees F. Is this the same for the 2.0 EB?

I looked and inquired about it also ( looked like a nice piece ) but sadly same issue with the cvf honest really fit behind a tremor lower with out cutting away the bumper.
That's actually my truck (the Carbonized Charcoal Metallic) in the product photos.

Nice. I've been considering adding one of these myself. I am not into performance modding but this looks to be a good upgrade to prolong the life of the turbocharger. Without a tune will this improve the responsiveness of the acceleration in normal drive mode?

An inter-cooler does its job after the turbocharger so it will not affect the turbo at all. The reason for larger ICs is to keep intake temperature below the point spark timing is retarded to stop knock. The small volume inefficient stock IC can become heat-soaked quickly ad drive up intake temperatures. Aftermarket ICs delay or eliminate the heat-soak issue. On my 2.7 the threshold temperature where the ECU begins to retard the spark is 115 degrees IAT2. My old stock IC went higher regularly my CVF Titan has never passed 115 degrees except when idling.

Thanks, I was under impression it cooled the air on the intake side of the intercooler not outtake. It still looks to be useful without a tune for towing.
