So I usually get about 300 to 320 miles per tank. I do mostly highway driving. Get about 26mpg But I decided to conduct a little experiment, me and the family went to the newest buc-ees in ohio and I decided to fill up with their ethanol free gas
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I got almost 445 miles out of that tank of gas. So if anybody is considering does non ethanol fuel really make a difference? Yes, yes, it makes that much of a difference. And I have repeated it with consecutive results.. Just a FYI for anybody who is considering it. It's worth the extra dollar on fill up per gallon

Wow. You're getting like EV range from an EB.

My hybrid: 700 miles per tank routinely with 10% ethanol. (In mild weather.)

And ethanol free is more than a dollar extra per tankful. More like $5 or $6 more.

But up to you to decide what you like best.

Very odd,
On cheap regular ethanol gas I get 26-27 mpg and my tank range is always about 420 miles,

On flat interstate my tank range is about 495-510 miles with me doing the old school math and my dash showing me around 31-31.5 mpg.

Once in inner city Atlanta all day I showed a tank range of 330 miles, that’s about 22 mpg. I did not and never do use that stupid stop/start system,
That was forced on me as a default by some idiot at Ford.

That is awesome fuel mileage. Do you have an ecoboost Or a hybrid, and with mine being a tremor I have other variables that affect my fuel mileage as well

I’m an Ecoboost driver. I didn’t notice you had a Tremor.
Lower final drive ratio in the Tremor equals lower highway mileage but not a lot lower.

The best mileage (46.9 MPG) I ever got out of my EB Maverick was also with non-ethanol fuel. I think it was 92 or 93 octane. It was a relatively short run (17.2 Miles) with an average speed of 44 MPH which included 4 or 5 stops at intersections. Top speed was about 50 MPH. I didn't get to see what mileage I would get from the full tank since I towed a trailer the rest of the run.

Except for the dealer fill up, I've been using non ethanol since I got the '26 hybrid. Mileage runs between 42.5 and 45.5. I have a 300 gallon gravity fuel tank on the property and last load was $4.50 a gallon. I have a number of Honda irrigation pumps and old cars that justify the use of non-ethanol.

I consistently get 520 - 540 miles per tank. Thats 4 days a week going from Newnan to Carrollton. Hilly 55mph highway. Wednesdays I am putting around Newnan with the kids' activities. Weekends have some DIY projects that use the bed.

I pushed it to 560 once successfully. 570 had me running out feet from the pump. I have since tuned the range on the display to hit 0 when there is about a gallon left.

I use mostly Citgo Top Tier non ethanol, as the station is right down the road from me. I have the Club Citgo App so I save a few pennies per gallon. I don't drive a lot and when I do it is shorter trips now. I'm not a big fan of ethanol, as it breaks down and can cause a lot of problem; less so with my cars and trucks but more so with my motorcycles and yard tools, generators, etc.

When I do take longer trips, I do notice a slight increase in mileage with the non-ethanol gas (I have an Ecoboost) but that isn't my primary purpose in using it. What is really noticeable is using crap gas; like 7-11 or Walmart for that matter. They source from all over the place so you never know what you are getting. Over time, cheap gas can wreak havoc on these 4-cyl engines.

Gas from any of the "Top Tier" members, Cosco and some others will serve you well over time, as the detergents added to the fuel will keep your engine cleaner.

At Maverik Adventure Stops (similar to Buc-ees here in Utah), the Maverik stations price for mid-grade (87 octane) ethanol-containing gasoline is $4.47 per gallon, and their ethanol-free (88 octane) ClearGas is $4.57 per gallon. Why would your's be $1.00 more per gallon? Do you live in a corn belt state? A full fill-up here with ClearGas only cost a total of about $1.30 more. And yes, it does make a huge difference running ethanol free gasoline.
