New owner: ‘26 in *that* color

Hi. New to the forum, and new to the platform. I just took delivery of my ‘26 XL AWD hybrid. I went with the most polarizing color. I apologize for triggering half of the Mav owners here.

Plans so far: tint, lower, wheels (maybe Lobo?)

I have the “this trip” mileage turned on and I haven’t been below 40 yet. Really enjoying the improved mileage compared to the Ecoboost Flex Limited that this replaces.

Well...... Sooner or later.
Someone was going to buy one.
You need some Tar Heel stickers on it now. Or at least a hat.

I've already been nosing in the oil forums, as I consider doing a 1k break in oil change.

I've been using Federated oils for the past decade or more and was glad to see that their full-syn meets the Ford spec for the hybrid.

Saw one of them in Lariat trim in the Columbus area when we picked up my son's new Maverick. Definitely nice to see another color "stand out" amongst your typical Black, white, silver, & grays that every car maker uses. A

lso it may not show the dirt as bad as some of the other colors!

I like the light blue. It’s sharp. Had it been available when I was shopping, I may have gone with it as well.
