First lariat delivered in my city. Ordered in July of 21 delivered in March of 22.
only software recalls (updates) and a new battery that was installed about 5,000 miles ago. Same front brakes that just passed my NYS inspection.
44,800 on it this morning per the app.
getting 28 mpg 2.0 ecoboost.
drives just like it did when I took it off the lot. I still get asked questions in parking lots about “how do you like it”
Best investment!!!

I''ve got a 2023 XLT that has 62000 miles on it. What are the symptoms that make you think the CV axles are needing a replacement soon?
There's a shaking vibration when accelerating more than lightly, which matches what others here have described. Cruising along or under light acceleration everything is normal.

Oh you will know when it's time to replace them. While accelerating up a freeway ramp, you will notice a shimmy. Your legs will be going back and forth. If you ease up on the gas the shimmy will stop. If you get back on the gas it will start up again. It will only get worse if you don't have it fixed.

This will also happen at parking lot speeds, on acceleration.
thanks, I have none of those symptoms.

23 ECO AWD LUX Alto Blue. 30000 miles. Delivered 11/23. All stock except 245-65-17 Falkens mounted day one. Third winter on those. Oil/rotation every 5000. All fluids replaced at 30000. No issues. Recalls complete. Paint chips from the Colorado winters otherwise all good. All in for 30K and with perks that have since gone away. It's a keeper.

So today marks 3 years since we bought our xlt ecoboost . Zero issues at 44,000 miles. The factory continentals all look the same never being rotated and perform well in our northern michigan winters. The factory paint still looks new after waxing once every spring with paste wax for about 3 dollars. First and subsequent oil changes done at 5k. No trans fluid change, no RDU fluid change. Original battery and brakes.i did have two factory recalls which were done while the vehicle was at my wife's work. We regularly tow a 3000 lb boat with it. Get over 30 mpg hwy Overall. Hoping to get 15 years out of it like our dodges. very pleased with the " half a truck" as my wife calls it 😆
3.5 years with my 22 xl hybrid here in MI - swapped out my continentals at under 20k due to wear and had them rotated as they should have been - had one cv axle replaced under warranty with the shake symptoms, battery needed replacing at 3.2 years - had the Granger Ford ESP warranty and they replaced it with an AGM for free (minus deductible) - runs great, 45mpg in the city, got it for 21K out the door, will be paid off in 5 months at 3 percent. What a great truck!

'22 xlt hybrid at 93k miles. Happy with it & would buy another, but I'll run it another 4 years. Replaced passenger CV axle at 68k and free engine block at 78k.

You needed a new engine at 78k? What was the issue?

True. But, you can make a difference too.

Leftover?! Times have changed. Back in '22 there wasn't a Mav to test drive so I tested a hybrid Escape. Ordered, got canceled to a '23 then upgraded to a Lariat which I totaled. When I traded in the XLT I got $3k more than I paid for it from the dealer. Now have a '24, very happy. When dealing with a dealer I start off in "landlord mode": I'm a chump or an asshole. But if they are good to me I'm a good customer. I'm retired too, planning on having my Mav for a long time.
Hi Tim. Not sure what you mean by "make a difference". Please elaborate. :D

Me too, it’s fun to drive! Currently 17,573 miles. I have a job for it coming up hauling sod for my front yard but waiting for our rainy season to get started.
Very true. There's a lot to love about our Mavericks. You won't find too many disappointed owners here. Sure, there's always something to complain about or wish otherwise, but overall I'd say the Maverick is an 8 or 9 in customer satisfaction.

'23 XLT Hybrid delivered Feb 2023.
42,000 miles, no issues.
Oil changes every 7,500-ish. Also drained and refilled transmission at 35,000; fluid looked good and probably didn't need it.
Consistent 47 to 49 mpg on mixed Dallas traffic.

I am working on two months with my new 2026 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD. I love it so far. Exceptional gas mileage!!! This will be my main retirement vehicle as of October 1st 2026.

Recall for 1st year hybrid engine. Replaced at no cost in not much more than a week, and dealer gave me a loaner.
