Thanks for posting, I like most of what you did and look forward to where it might lead. Window vents put me off in any colour or tint, other than that two thumbs up.
So what’s next,
Chrome wheels?
Lowering it?
Contrasting stripes?

I think its looks great like that. I wouldnt have painted the window vent shields but I would have painted the window pillar. I personally hate the look of all the flat black plastic on every "tough" or 'rugged" vehicle. Flat black belongs on hotrods. Pn every other vehicle it looks like your a poser or so poor you couldnt afford a half gallon of extra paint.

Now lets see this in velocity blue.

I love it, but that comment is color dependent. Might not look so great in a grey or blue.

Here's a look at how the Maverick looks with painted grill bar, front bumper, rear bumper, fender vent trim and hood scoop - match body color (and compared to factory look).

When I see it I “see” a Sport Trac”.
That was my reaction too.

Not for my taste but good job to him, nothing wrong with custom.

This feels like the apprentices at Maaco got a hold of a Maverick and sprayed the shit out of everything on it.....

They lost me with the side "vents" and then completely lost me with the window vents they painted.

Did you paint this yourself? Or did you have someone else do it? Also, I assume that's the sticky hood vent that ford offers, correct?

I think you have a great looking paint job here and with the painted lower front facia/bumper, the Maverick sure takes on a different look. It seems to make the truck look a little more aggressive. Perhaps more race track or autocross ready. I really like the idea of the grill crossbar painted the body color, maybe because it makes the feature stand out more.

After saying the above, one reason I stuck with the XL were the black grill crossbar and black door handles. And, I do like the black plastic side vents/badge and love the black trim that frames the whole truck because it establishes a nice contrast to the great colors from Ford. I personally would prefer some of type of hood vent in chrome or black instead of the faux hood scoop.

Please don't get me wrong, I love the looks of your custom paint job. After there are thousands and thousands on the road you will have something very special...not that cyber orange doesn't accomplish that anyway. I remember back in the day when plastic started becoming the norm for bumper covers, matching the body color was something that manufacturers charged more to do, becoming part of a trim package.

You should be very proud of the look you created as something a little different and special. Great Job!
