Painted grill bar, bumpers, fender vents, hood scoop - matched to body color on Maverick (Cyber Orange)

Like the looks but like some people just not my cup of tea. It needs more breakup of colors, I could see the hood scoop and the grill bar color matched, or even the door handles also but needs more contrasting colors, its just too much of the same color. I had a old Mazda REPU I had the grill color matched to the body and I liked the looks of that but it also had white stripes over the orange main color.

Lariat door handles are painted from the factory.

Super cool that they left this little bit at the back unpainted, they should have held that unpainted black line down the side and the very lowest part of the front. Would have really refined the look from the side.

The lower side molding has slots in it that stand out even more now that it's painted. Should have kept about 1/2-3/4" of lower side moldings unpainted to conceal this.

Just sharing my thoughts in case any body wants to perfect the paint match, since I'm just a keyboard warrior still.

I like the front a lot but I would have kept the sides and the back black! Just to make more contrast! But still nice to see something different!! I have a Cyber Orange supposed to be here at Christmas, can't wait to put some decals on it and change it up a bit!

Here's a look at how the Maverick looks with grill bar, front bumper and rear bumper painted to match body color (and compared to factory look).

I really don't get painting the window air deflectors.

Another reason NOT to paint match, the front is clearly highlighting the lack of Fog Lights with the remainder of the valance painted but not the fog openings.

Like some here I agree that one solid color is not my cup of tea. Maybe adding a pinstripe set along the beltline would give that bit of contrast others have referred to.

This is how I'd do it up.

I didn't even notice the side vent and black top of the box stuff changed over. Yeah, I agree. The bumpers are dope, but those two items should be left black!

Wouldn't want it. One thing I learned with my RV is the places that have the unpainted plastic around the bumpers etc don't show road damage like paint when it chips...I plan to keep mine like it is...

LOVE IT. I'd totally do it if I could afford it. Bet that paint job is $10K or more here in Washington State at a quality body shop.

That's a long time waiting! I ordered mine, similar to yours, in early November, got a notice from Ford it will be built the first week in February.
