Well, I am on a work trip and the wife just called that Springfield mo just got baseball size hail. She went to the airport to check on my truck and it doesn’t look good. I am not an insurance adjuster but thinking it might be totaled. If it is, I will be posting up my custom black rhinos for trade before it goes to insurance. Sad day but everyone is safe and vehicles can be replaced.

Whow, that sux...Sorry.
It does…I love my maverick! I don’t know if they make the sand dune color in the 2026 either…so maybe will look for a 2025 or switch it up and go back to an F-150 tremor with the coyote.

I love the sand/Terrain color. If something like that happened to mine, 100% getting a F150 single cab 4x4 with the coyote..... and the super charger.

My man that is most definitely not totaled.

New windshield and some PDR and you’re rocking and rolling.

EDIT: Maybe a new hood with that aluminum paint peel but bottom line it’s far from totaled even if you want it to be.

Somebody is going to be driving around in a nice truck with some dents and new glass...

Edit: Or maybe not.. PDR Repair of Hail Damage
If they want to total it, take the settlement less the residual value of keeping the truck, get it fixed for a fraction of the net settlement cost plus new glass, and put the leftovers in a CD....
Of course, after getting a firm estimate up front, but then you'd also have a salvage title...
Nevermind.

We will see. The sand hides the severity but bed rails, roof, 3 of the 4 doors, both mirrors…it’s everywhere. The roof I think will be the worst…especially where it is at the seams.

Yep. It’s not totaled. PDR will get everything but the hood.

I’m not a betting man but I’d bet a hefty sum you aren’t getting it totaled.

Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. Only $8300 in damage, and that doesn't include the $8600 in damage from a deer 5 months prior. 😱 She'll be back to normal in a few weeks. 👍

Yeah I had it happen to a 2006 Altima in 2010 and my car looked like a golf ball with all the dimples.

It was insane what PDR did to make it look practically new again.

Too bad a drunk driver killed it (and almost my now wife and I) a few months after repair
