While viewing YouTube shorts, I came across a video from Dave's Auto Center out of Centerville, UT. Dave was talking about the Pacific Performance Engineering oil filter for the different diesel engines. Went to https://ppepower.com/ and looked up for the 2025 Ford Maverick 2.0Turbo (ecoboost) and found the filter.

https://ppepower.com/products/micro...delco-pf48-pf63-motorcraft-fl500s-mopar-mo339.

Emailed PPE and asked this question, Your website shows the oil filter for my 2025 Ford Maverick XLT as a 114000760, MicroPure® Engine Oil Filter - Replaces AC Delco PF48 PF63, Motorcraft FL500S, Mopar MO339.

My 2.0ecoBoost takes the Motorcraft F-2127. At least that is what Ford puts on when they do the oil change.

PPE is showing that the Motorcraft FL500S will work.

The threads on the F-2127 & the FL500S must be the same then. Correct?

PPE answered, Yes, our 760 filter is compatible with the 2025 Ford Ranger 2.0L EcoBoost. The Fl-2127 & Fl-500s share the same O-ring/thread size/Can Outside diameter, but the Fl-500 is slightly taller. Our 760 filter is a little taller than the FL-500 with better filtration.

The cost is $16 each plus shipping. naturally.

Looked for the PPE 114000760 on AmaZon and could only find PPE filters for Diesels.

Anybody else use this filter?

That caught my eye. If they were $3.99 each, then the word 'naturally' might apply. Even then, in 45 years of mail order, and now online, buying, I've never seen a company say, "...plus shipping naturally." Just, "...plus shipping." Of course many do not charge for shipping.

"Naturally" implies that only an idiot would expect free shipping. At $16 each, shipping should be free!

Amazon has Motorcraft FL910S filters for ~$7 each (box of 12) with FREE shipping. A single filter is ~$8.80, delivered OVERNIGHT, at no charge.

My apologies. Nothing to be sorry for. I thought the mfr/vendor used the word "naturally."

I did not mean to be critical of you. We just have different ideas about what is normal WRT shipping.

In my experience, shipping is usually free. There are exceptions of course -- very inexpensive items and very bulky and/or heavy products.
