What will us geezers be called after the AI singularity solves aging overnight, and suddenly we find ourselves in 20 year-old bodies but with 70+ years of life experience?

Retreads? Rebuilds" Rewinds? Dead men walking?

Lead characters in a sci-fi movie. . .
AI can't even display a '25 Maverick without a '24 or prior grill.

Integrating an estimated 100 trillion to 150 trillion synaptic connections in a brain to a robot that's major accomplishment is coming up with an unthoughtful answer while walking and chewing gum is a few miles away from right around the corner.

Artificial intelligence is not intelligent.
It just appears that way occasionally, but is actually a just quick way to come up with a consensus answer rather than anything approaching a thoughtful response, which is totally beyond its means.

LOL too funny! Before I stated joining car forum groups I have no idea there was such a strong need/desire to label folks based on the automobile they drove. So far I have learned... If you're a man and drive a Miata, Mini Cooper or VW Beetle you must be gay. If you are a woman and drive a Subaru Outback you must be a lesbian and if you drive a Bronco Sport or Maverick you're not a real man. That title is reserved for F150s and up and the larger Broncos or the older model ones. It's really quite comical considering my ex neighbor who was a Green Beret and fought in MMA for a decade drives a Bronco Sport Outer Banks.

Your son is 100% right! A fully loaded Lariat, with all the safety features is exactly what us old geezers need. We want a truck that is small enough to park, and drive, has good visibility, and does most of the driving! I'm 85, and the ACC cruise control is the greatest thing on the interstate highways.

I love my ACC cruise control. Greatest thing since sliced bread.

I am a geezer, too. I have the Lariat and love the ACC, but no lane centering for me! I fight those things all the time. I drive too close to the right side of the road and it tries to force me to the middle. I can't overcome 59 years of driving and I would rather drive myself!

I use and like the technology, but on some roads where the tire tracks are especially rough, I turn off centering feature so I can drive with wheels on smoother pavement & NOT fight the centering feature. California has some roads like that.....smoother riding on the reflectors. When I rented a Tesla I really wanted to turn lance centering/keeping off, but doing what I thought was the correct button didn't work.

I do the same.
I turn off Lane assist when driving 93 to Kingman Arizona. I try to hug the fog line and get out of the trucking ruts that are on the highway.
