Sounds like you need to trade for a Lariat! He says my Maverick is a perfect geezer ride for me because if I don’t put the park break on or put the transmission in park before shutting the engine off, it will do it for me. He also says it tries to keep me in my lane when driving. I agree with him. I like all the tech now days.
My son is in college and drives the 2024 Escape S-Line Plus we bought him. It has the same tech I have, and more. His ride is really loaded compared to mine.
We both enjoy all the tech, heated seats, heated steering wheel and heated side mirrors. He has dual zone automatic climate control where I have single zone automatic climate control. Both of our vehicles are AWD too, which is nice. I wish my cruise control was as elaborate as his. Paces traffic, does speed limit sign stuff, and actually drives if you let it. Does a good job too.

Your son is 100% right! A fully loaded Lariat, with all the safety features is exactly what us old geezers need. We want a truck that is small enough to park, and drive, has good visibility, and does most of the driving! I'm 85, and the ACC cruise control is the greatest thing on the interstate highways. He says my Maverick is a perfect geezer ride for me because if I don’t put the park break on or put the transmission in park before shutting the engine off, it will do it for me. I would imagine, it would be up to personal interpretation of the word and it's relationship to a particular age.At what age someone becomes a "geezer"?
Seriously
C'mon Glen, you can't fish with a sealed can of worms!I would imagine, it would be up to personal interpretation of the word and it's relationship to a particular age.
Anything stated is going to have a incredible amount of conflicting opinions.
A can of worms best left sealed.
