I'm thinking about lights hitting it in the dark. Could possibly prevent a rear end collision from fast closing rate. Doubtful. Plus I like chrome

Chrome for me also, but I have the black lettering at the present. I'm still waiting for someone to figure out how to get the Crager SS (chrome) mags to fit our Mavericks.

Those are very nice also! 1960's-1970's stock wheels Dodge Chargers were also good ones.

stainless ≠ chrome

Chrome holds shine much longer than stainless. And stainless rusts in salty conditions. It just stains less than regular steel.
