Just give it a week or so and you will get a flyer in the mail for them. Our offer was $6 a month for 12 months. After 12 months we cancelled and they called and we negotiated the $6 a month for as long as we keep it active and pay yearly.

I might be mistaken but I think it was about $100 for 3 years

I just negotiate the price with them, a handful of times they wouldn't agree with a price I want so I would call back a day later and get the price I wanted. Right now I am paying $21/month for life in my Maverick and Fusion, I am happy with that.

I assume that is transferable for when you change vehicles

I threatened to cancel at end of my subscription. First they offered $10 a month then $7, said not good enough. Then I said no more than $5 total and they gave it to me. I just did this. This is laughable. I did this over chat with Sirius XM. I saw one guy get it for $3 a month on a facebook page for Mavericks. Do this little dance you will pay what you want to. just say "ain't good enough and say I am cancelling then." Always say they cannot do it, when you threaten to hang up they do it. Always works. I have done this 3 times.

Keep in mind they only make money from the pricing to various entities based on number of subscribers. The talk, news, comedy, sports, etc. channels that have commercials pay to be on Sirius. So Sirius, like magazines, need to keep subscribers to keep these channels paying them. I cancelled a magazine subscription I had for 15 years or more. The Family Handyman. It went through several owners over the years and each time the content changed. The last purchase was by the Reader's Digest parent company and they fired all of the editors, writers, and professional contributors replacing them with 90% female counterparts. It went from articles about lawn tractors to articles about lawn decor. I told them why I cancelled because I don't subscribe to read about the latest decorator fabric trends. They have continued my subscription free of charge now for 2 years. I throw it in the trash when it comes. They do this to keep the numbers up for advertising fees.

That makes a lot sense, changing from the content of Family Handyman to decor sounds like the kiss of death

Yes, I originally had this on my Mustang and when I traded in on the Maverick, I just had to give SiriusXM my Radio ID # off the Maverick and transferred the service.

Got this email today. But agree with previous posts just call and they lower the price. It cost them nothing to send it to your radio.

Ford Maverick I've searched but can't find it. Sirius/XM Discount IMG_6269

My free trial was about to expire and I got an email telling me I could get 3 months for $2.
I took them up on the offer.
When that's up in May, I'll call to cancel by talking to their cancellations department and would settle for $3 per month maximum, ( but I'll tell them $2/month) or I'll just listen to FM as I've got good radio stations that I often listen to instead of Sirius.

As others have stated, they are better off keeping a cheap subscriber that costs them nothing and boosts their advertising revenue, rather than losing a subscriber, which costs them in revenue, so you have leverage.

If you don't mind negotiating on the phone, it's an easy way to save money, not just on Sirius, but on most subscription plans like Dish or Direct, etc.
