Have a 2024 Lariet and need to add a front license plate holder. I see several aftermarket (no drill) options but wondering how these units hold up under car washes or is it not a problem getting ripped off? Anyone with experience?

Wasn't there one in a baggie under your back seat when it was delivered to you?

No, not required in KS so none supplied.

Same. I have the one that came with the car. I specifically asked the dealer to NOT install it since it's not required in Ks.

Did you buy from a dealer? I wonder if they would give you one if you asked?

I bought mine in Kentucky where they do not require front license plates. So mine did not come with one. Bought the one from Mabett and to not like it. It sticks our way too far. Fortunately, I don't use car washed but I am it would be ripped off - depending on the car wash.
If you are going to keep your truck for a while I would go with the OEM one.

The dealer didn't put mine on but I found it under the back seat. Don't really want to drill into the bumper so I'm waiting until I'm forced to. It's required in my state. For now I'm doing the "Tesla"

Just purchased what I think is a factory unit from Parts Geek. P/N FO1068190. Think this is the best option.

I had to add mine. (Wisconsin). Truck was purchased in Indiana.
FYI - on drilling and installing screws.. I forget, either Top/Bottom pair, ONLY go into the plastic bumper cover. NO Metal Backing..
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws...

I have the no-drill from Mabett and have been very happy with it. It does stick out a little bit but I've never had any problems. I've run it through a number of car washes. It was easy to install following the instructions. I drive almost exclusively paved suburban roads. Most of them are fairly smooth although I do have to drive one stretch that I'm pretty sure was last repaved during the Reagan administration. The bracket has stayed tight. Others seem to have different experiences, but I'm happy with mine.
