I'm determined to only remove panels ONCE and want to get everything installed right the first time. I'm asking for community help. I'm looking to add 6.5" Kicker door speakers (already have) and a powered subwoofer.
Amp/sub I'm looking at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019Z3R582
I'm planning on tapping the battery/ground directly for power since it's in the rear, amp/sub will be behind the seat.
I understand you have to tap the wires to the existing speakers somehow. I've seen some say the front, others say the rear. Also, I seem to remember having to have another device (Pyle Link or Boss maybe) that makes is so the amp can actually amplify the stock head unit and remote on work correctly. I can't for the life of me find it again though. I want to avoid too much tapping or butchering factory wiring.
