Looks great, price is out there. I would be happy with just the sync 4 upgrade to get rid of the dongle I have to use.
Ideally Ford should offer a software upgrade path like Microsoft does for computers. Especially with the newer cars and trucks.

The dongle has benefits, well the AAwireless one does.

You can change DPI, which in this case allows Google Maps to show the hazard report button. It's not there otherwise, at least not last time I checked.

You can also do other things if so inclined with developer mode.

Nevermind. I found some reviews. They overheat. Sound quality is lacking and rear camera viewing is not good.

Save your money for a Samsung Z Fold 7 or the new tri-fold phone. Cheaper than a replacement screen for your Mav!

This is kind of ideal because you get to keep the physical controls that Ford removed from the 2025+ models while also getting the bigger screen!

I'm super happy with my 2025, but I knew what I was getting into. If I had a 2024 or older, I'd be very happy to have this over the 2025 setup.

Yea, loosing the buttons is in my opinion one of the worst ways which ford decided to save a couple bucks.

For the 2025 model, they removed climate control buttons. Pushed everything into the screen

I elected to do my own with salvaged 2023 Escape using his harness.

Too bad they don't offer just the screen update. I don't have Sync and don't need it - my other car is a Ford Escape Titaniunm with Sync 3, and never use it. I use Car Play for everything, so just the screen update would be enough, and probably much closer to my $$ basket availability.

What I did was, I went to local junkyards and got the screen and the APIM from a 2023 escape I bought OEM’s ’ harness and sent my Apim to Sam to program.
Not hard to mount, just make a couple brackets
