Hi folks,

Thought there was a thread for this, or maybe another one diverged, anyway, couldn't convince the search to find it.

So sighted today, Siemens logo on the door, white XL, couldn't tell other details, had a Leer cap I think and ladder rack on top. Not sure what Siemens division it was service for, gave no clues, they have fingers in many pies. Unfortunately no better details or pics because I was catching glimpses in traffic.

But while I'm posting, saw also an Orkin pest control truck a couple of weeks back, with commercial cap, that might have been owner/franchisee operator because it was an XLT. I had only seen them use Colorados before, but I think someone else mentioned seeing an Orkin one before.

What has anyone else seen lately?

I've been seeing them more and more around here. Lots of utility contractors seem to be using them. I can understand why with all the driving around they have to do. That fuel economy adds up quick!

The (2020's) Maverick, is doing the same jobs as the (1980-2010's) Rangers.
A lot of Contractors and the City/County of Milwaukee had them.
In looking out for any Municipal Mavericks. (I have seen only One).
MKE DWP, still owns a lot of Rangers. (Last one's were built in 2011)..

The first Mavericks I saw "in the flesh" on the street belonged to my water utility. They have a facility about a mile and a half up the road from me, and while riding my bike, I saw some in the parking lot.

It surprised me that they were XLTs instead of XLs, but then I learned how limited XL production was and it kind of made sense. I assume they were hybrids. They don't seem to have gotten any since the restyle for '25.

I saw Georgetown County SC utility truck (Maverick) recently. They always used F150s in the past.

Around where I live, Mavericks seem to be the go-to for several businesses.
I’d say I’ve seen about eleven different company Mavs.
I figured as soon as they came out, that they would make an excellent and much cheaper fleet option for many businesses and still be capable enough for the requirements.

Our local Napa & O'Reilly auto parts stores both have base Maverick's for parts deliveries. They are all plain white though with no markings or decals.

Wauwatosa has them too - They aren't badged, but I've seen them at the Self-Service Lot (aka the dump), when I was using my truck for truck stuff. And the person in the gate house said they have a few.

They're fantastic fleet trucks! I see quite a few here in the Phoenix area.

I am kind of expecting one of the Auto parts places to be running one around here soon, but they haven't killed their Chevy Sparks etc yet.

My Mav doesn't wear any signage but it replaced my Jeep Comanche as my service vehicle/tool truck. The final piece is the matching Leer cap which is waiting for me on the mainland, but I will not be able to pick up until next month.

No pictures, not true! Kidding of course. I live in a small city and there are a lot of Mavs being used as company vehicles, smart!
