OK, in all seriousness it's that "T" word.I Am Canadian and I will not be returning to the USA for at least another 3 years. I also have friends that have places in Florida that are actively trying to sell. Their intension is to retreat to the Bahamas, Mexico etc. and yes it is all politically motivated
Great attitudeI met some Canadians here at Starbucks. They are a group that meets there weekly. I kindly asked why they came down this year all things considered. The consenses was,and I am paraphrasing, they are not going to cease doing what they enjoy over someone else's dispute especially during their golden years. Just an FYI.
still haven't been in disney world. hope one day. The situation in Florida is definitely changing, and I’m sure it’s making Canadians reconsider their usual vacations there. For some, the weather and new restrictions might make them explore other options. I spoke with Disney Store customer service recently about changes to their ticketing policy, and they mentioned how tourism in general has been unpredictable lately. But I think for many people, Florida will always be a go-to, especially with so many returning customers. Still, it’ll be interesting to see if those numbers drop significantly. I’m curious to see how this impacts the tourism industry over the next few months. So I've lived in Florida since 1982. For the last 4 years, I've had an annual pass to Disney World. In that time, attendence at the Mouse House seems to have gone crazy. I live outside of Tampa, and if I'm lucky, it only takes 2 hours on I-4 to get there. It's generally packed. So at least some tourists are still coming to Florida!
Personally I prefer the (grade A) “medium Amber” from Québec or Vermont. The dark is just too intense.Just an FYI
