Factory airboxes sometimes have a trap door of sorts so that if water is covering the lower part of the intake, then the trap door opens so that air can enter through there. I've only seen this on vehicles that have the intake really low though. My F-150's intake pulls from the driver's side front fenderwell and it's just straight into the filter.If it's high enough to suck water into the Air Intake and into Your engine the engine could hydro lock and bye bye engine!!
If the water level is below the wheel hubs, I'd say you're okay. But a foot is probably gonna partially submerge the HV battery and a lot of chassis wiring.Wondering about water and the battery……

Might want to consider getting something with a raised ride height since this is a somewhat regular occurrence for you. F-250s were (or maybe still are) available with a deep water fording option (up to 30" if I recall), but I'd say another F-150 or a Ranger aught to be sufficient.
