You must be as old as me, talking to my sis at the thanksgiving table we were telling her kids how we used to sit right in front of our b&w tv singing along with Mitch or watching Ed Sullivan show, the TV screen was about as big as my Mav screen.Haha! I remember my dad and I pulling the tubes out of the tv, going to the grocery store to test them. Put on test machine, Find the bad one, look underneath the tester, look and find the replacement stock number, go home and "fix it! TV repairmen extraordinaire we were! Today? Throw in trash. Buy new one. Saw at Costco a few days ago 100 inch now available.

Yup, I'm only 70 young. Black and white TV was all we had. Did not own color one until after I was married, a 13 inch we bought in 1974. Loved Red Skeletons character Clem Kaddiddlehopper ! (confession, had to look it up to spell it correctly!). Glen Campbell Hour, Hee-Haw, American Bandstand, Dick Clark Show, Carol Burnette. My mom watched Lawrence Welk and since we only had one TV with only 3 stations, I had no choice. I hated that one! Forgot we did have 2 maybe 3 UHF channels. Woo Hoo!You must be as old as me, talking to my sis at the thanksgiving table we were telling her kids how we used to sit right in front of our b&w tv singing along with Mitch or watching Ed Sullivan show, the TV screen was about as big as my Mav screen.

If you click on your user name at the top right of the page you get the drop down menu for your account and the second option is "Your Content" if you click on that all your posts will be displayed.

My kids would have never gotten up to change the channel / adjust volume / fine tune the UHF. If they can’t binge-watch, why try?we only had one TV with only 3 stations, I had no choice. I hated that one! Forgot we did have 2 maybe 3 UHF channels. Woo Hoo!

Sprinting is beneficial for older adults as an anti-aging exercise that maintains muscle mass, improves cardiovascular health, and preserves explosive power and coordination. It helps counter age-related declines by recruiting fast-twitch muscle fibers, boosting growth hormone, and strengthening bones, and can even help maintain telomere length, which is associated with longevity. However, a safe approach involves preparation to mitigate the high risk of injury.
Gary Brecka explains all of this.
Google him.
“ preserves explosive power” Did ya get it ?
Funny, that was the name of Dad's TV store, but it did not stand for "black and white"......Dad was Bob and his business partner was Wally, and dad bought him out but by that time, the name had stuck......... how we used to sit right in front of our b&w tv singing along with Mitch or watching Ed Sullivan show.....
Any of your kids start working at 12, don't think so, I don't have any kids, do have lots of nieces and nephews that are in there 30s/40s now, none of them started till after college if they went. BTW all good kids, When I got my license at 16 I was working a 40hr week and going to school, I worked till 10/11 sweeping floors and masking cars at my neighbor's body shop for the painter in the Am, 15 years later was managing a dealer's shop, stayed there 30 years then did another 10 years with a major insurance co. after a heart attack, let's hope the kids today don't have to work that hard. No complaints was able to afford a new pickup every 3/4 years and got a new demo every 3/4k. Forgot the EX-wife's got a few of them too.My kids would have never gotten up to change the channel / adjust volume / fine tune the UHF. If they can’t binge-watch, why try?
