There is no recall to replace the battery, it's only replaced if your dealer says it needs replacement. I still have my original 12V battery in my hybrid into my 4th year. I would love a free AGM battery, but they said I'm already out of warranty.

'22 MY EcoBoosts with the flooded battery did have a recall to replace them with an AGM.

They put a AGM in my hyrbid 2 weeks ago and I checked with Forscan it’s at 80, should I change to 100

AGM, LifePO4 and lead acid have different state of charge charts.

FWIW my Motorcraft AGM that came in my 2024 Eco Lariat charges to 12.54 VDC so 94%

I’m past 10,000 miles with nothing turned off and last winter it sat two weeks un touched.
I’ve never seen any kind of low battery notice.

The 12v battery doesn’t start the motor, but it is required to start the computers that tell the electric motor to turn over the ICE.

In any case, the 12v battery recall is only for Ecoboost Mavericks, not Hybrids. No idea where this person you replied to is getting the 200k+ number from, unless they are counting the other Ford models included in the recall (Bronco Sports, Escapes etc).

I took my 22 Mav in for the battery recall. They replaced it and now the battery light came on. Never had any issue for 79,000 miles.

I used Forscan to make many changes to my 25MY Mav Hybrid, including 12v SOC from default 80% to 85%. Im not an expert, proposing that's the perfect level, but haven't experienced "Sleep" since this change. Serves me well, so will stay @ 85% until it doesn't.

Since they put the AGM in a month ago or so have had no deep sleeps that I’m aware of. Don’t use ford pass but my interior lights have always turned on. Did not change any forscan settings.
