I am sure it will.'25 Hybrid AWDWe have been interested in getting a Travel Trailer for about 10 years. Finally bought one today. It's a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 170BH. Total length is 21ft, empty weight is 3000lbs and maxed out is 3750lb. The hitch weight is 315lbs. It's getting cold so probably won't use it until next spring. I think I got a good deal (15k out the door) since they are starting to get 2026 models in and this is the slow time of year for RV sales. I hope the Maverick will do a good job towing it. I guess I will find out when I bring it home next week.
Mirrors do help but I found you can also set rear camera while driving so you can see around trailer. At least on the Lariat not sure about other models.Next time I tow I will post pic and how to set it.Somehow it shrinks the width of the truck to allow to see down both sides of trailer while in drive amazing! You should be fine. Get some clip-on or strap-on rearview mirror extensions, it'll make the tow a lot more enjoyable
Are you getting a weight distribution hitch?
Lariat probably uses the 360 cameras. The XLT and XL don’t have that. I might look into wireless backup cameras.Mirrors do help but I found you can also set rear camera while driving so you can see around trailer. At least on the Lariat not sure about other models.Next time I tow I will post pic and how to set it.Somehow it shrinks the width of the truck to allow to see down both sides of trailer while in drive amazing!
Looks great! Looks like you are using a weight distribution hitch. How much does your rig weigh?I am sure it will.'25 Hybrid AWD![]()
2450 empty 3400 loaded.Came with the cheap Harbor Freight DH.Works fine they are all to heavy.Don't know why someone hasn't come up with a reasonable priced under 5 k Distribution Hitch but mine works fine with just sway control no bars!Looks great! I just towed my Jayco trailer home yesterday. I have a 2025 XLT hybrid with tow package. My travel trailer weighs 3650 lbs. I had it delivered to the campground because I did not have my Maverick yet. The truck did great! I could feel the trailer though as I did not have the sway bars (yet). I would definitely recommend them.We have been interested in getting a Travel Trailer for about 10 years. Finally bought one today. It's a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 170BH. You will be close to the max towing limit when loaded up. Will be interesting how it does. We tow a 3100 lb boat thats prolly around 3200 lbs when gased up and loaded with gear. Pulls it just fine, almost as good as my hemi ram.We have been interested in getting a Travel Trailer for about 10 years. Finally bought one today. It's a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 170BH. Old Tractor trailer knowledge :Yes it has adjustable electric brakes.
You'll be fine, just don't expect to set any speed records. I've towed that with my EB and the only issues was other drivers cutting in front of me. Even with the trailer breaks it important to leave extra room between you and the vehicle in front. Of course many drivers see that as slowing them down and do some stupid things. We have been interested in getting a Travel Trailer for about 10 years. Finally bought one today.
