Right, that was why it was so easy to put together with Mondeo panels cheaply available in UK.The Contour was based on the European Ford Mondeo; it's all UK Ford
Oh, all our Mustang friends say that. But if I don't have time to drive the '89, I sure don't have time for that one. And the Maverick has taken over alot of my driving time. Yes, I've had the Black Widow mini (and a half dozen 1970 Honda Trail 70's) that I thought some of my children would like. So far not much interest.Oh no!! I can hear it screaming DRIVE ME!is that a Black Widow replica?
I have the die-cast version of that lol
If I take an extremely rational look at potential hobby vehicles since getting my Maverick, there's nothing worth less than dozens of thousands that would be better handling and faster in stock form on the street, there's nothing that would be worth it for tootling around and getting better mileage, and I don't want a brodozer sitting around for the once in every three years I'll want to tow more than 4000. So I get you saying that.Oh, all our Mustang friends say that. But if I don't have time to drive the '89, I sure don't have time for that one. And the Maverick has taken over alot of my driving time. Back in the 90's, I bought a Mercury Mystique for my then wife...both the car and her are now gone. I remember the Mercury fondly though....The Contour was based on the European Ford Mondeo; it's 100% UK Ford

Sorry, I still can’t figure out the search icon on my iPhone, was going to post it along with that thread, but… Anyway got it ready to store it for winter in garage. 80 Z-28, special order latter half of 79, waited 9 months (sounds like Maverick’s for some). Getting harder and harder to get in and out of, that’s why I drive the Mav more! Time to sell!

Is that a 61? That was my first car 61 brown fairlane had a 292 V8, three on the tree and manual steering. Was a real bear to drive around town trying to shift and turn at intersections with that manual steering.
