Sorry, I still can’t figure out the search icon on my iPhone, was going to post it along with that thread, but… Anyway got it ready to store it for winter in garage. 80 Z-28, special order latter half of 79, waited 9 months (sounds like Maverick’s for some). Getting harder and harder to get in and out of, that’s why I drive the Mav more! Time to sell!

I have a couple of those rear spoilers in my garage. Sold the hood scoop I had years ago on Ebay.

Nice 82 Mustang GT!! Do You still have the Gran National?

After around 30 years of ownership I just sold the National this summer to a friend I worked with. At least I know where the car is. My last ride in it was on a Sunday morning on the LIE out east and I parked it right in his back yard. Now that's what I call great service.

Thanks, It's been quite the process. All body panels are hand custom-made Because nobody offers them anymore.
It's the hybrid 3.0 build. the block is out of an 05 escape As it has the coil on plug, instead of the wires going to a coil pack And the cams and upper intake ported and polished. from the SVT.
There is a guy on a forum that has taken the complete drive train and running gear from a jaguar x type Now his svt is all wheel drive

2005 350Z. Third owner, grabbed it at 28,000 miles. Perfect condition. Had it ceramic coated. I have had 6 Z cars in my day, including a new 2005 Roadster. Not as nimble as a Miata but much more horses.

Post a picture of the 85 Mustang GT I always wanted one of those with the Holley 4 Barrel Carb, Factory Hydraulic Roller Cam ,Factory Shorty Headers and 5 speed Manual Transmission!!

I bought my first new car when I was 19. 1980 AMC Spirit AMX 6 cylinder 258 4 speed manual shift black interior with a moon roof. Traded it on a 1982 AMC Eagle SX/4 6 cylinder 258 5 speed manual shift black interior with a moon roof. Yes the side pipes were functional. Had a exhaust shop hook both of them up. Wish I kept both of those cars. My everyday driver is a 07 Focus 5 speed power windows locks and cruise control. I am the 2nd owner bought it in 2014 with 102350 miles on it. Currently has 288750 on it and still gets 30-33 mpg.
My 73 AMC Javelin has a 360 auto floor shift with black interior and a/c. I added all the AMX parts to the interior and exterior. It does need restored again. My 73 Mustang convertible has a 302 auto floor shift black interior. It has a/c also along with the Mach 1 package which includes all the gauges center console and power top. I never restored it yet but am retiring in less than a year so that will keep me busy. Adding my 1980 Honda XL100s to my post. Focus now has 293,132 miles on it.

Interesting, kind of an inverse Cobra, "british" drivetrain in murrican body. Though I have been developing an interest in Jaguar drivetrains for older Fords for some reason, probably prompted by the sudden profusion of "rollers" with no drivetrain in local markets that are 60s and 70s Fords...No clue why this is, maybe Mustang guys are blowing too many motors or something.

Don't see many AMCs around any more. I am still kicking myself about an AMC Eagle Wagon that was a "one that got away" about 3 years ago. Nice shape with only 50,000 on it, and asking was only $2k ... but I had a driveway full of former DDs plus relatives cars, and before I made a hole it was gone.
