I hate that shoes don't seem to hold up well. I bought a pair in June for daily use. The soles have worn completely smooth already. granted these were, "cheap" by today's standards at $75, but they get worn 5 days a week usually except for 2 weeks at the beach when they were left at home. No athletic shoes, casual shoes. Dockers made a shoe I loved and had bought 3 pairs that always were comfortable and good wear from them. The last pair I purchased, and it will be the last pair ever of Dockers, the soles worn out in weeks. Literally could rub my finger over it and it would rub off.I hate how expensive shoes are. We have Lariat and wife and I love the seats. Skinny and not skinny.
Yeah, I have the same issue with shoes now. You can't seem to find any that actually have rubber soles. The synthetic crap just crumbles away instead of wearing down slowly like rubber does. I've also found that most shoes offer zero protection from rain now. Again, it's due to synthetic materials instead of leather or canvas.I hate that shoes don't seem to hold up well. Lariat seats though are great for us and I am over 6' and over 200 lbs.
I'm hung up on Skechers go annually to Outlet stores which have clearance (limited sizes and styles) usually 30-50% off plus get 2nd pair half off that. Have to be open to availability though. May have to stop in several times to get a pair of pairs you like???I hate that shoes don't seem to hold up well. I bought a pair in June for daily use. Since the closest outlets are over an hour away it's not worth the drive. I'm not a fan of skechers. I have bought a few pair and only 1 was comfortable wearing more than a couple hours. I don't know if it is the arch or toe shape but haven't been wowwed by them. I generally avoid outlets all together since I don;t find the prices very good. Having said that though finding a shoe store that doesn't sell just Nike or Croc is getting harder to find. I miss Hush Puppies and Hanover shoesI'm hung up on Skechers go annually to Outlet stores which have clearance (limited sizes and styles) usually 30-50% off plus get 2nd pair half off that. I am an hour away from nearest outlet and normally stop in coming or going to family Thanksgiving into outlet in Abilene Tx. I prefer to try them on because Sketcher has different arch/heel/etc designs by shoe design types. Go walk/ etc. I got one pair last year for $20 or so which have a very high arch support which I wear occasionally. Are different but not really uncomfortable. On some trips I will add a sketchers outlet stop.Since the closest outlets are over an hour away it's not worth the drive. I'm not a fan of skechers.
