I find the seats fairly comfortable, definitely sat in worse. A lot of it comes down to individual physiology, what is comfortable for one person isn't necessarily comfortable for another. Some people will prefer firm seats (or matresses, etc) some would prefer plusher ones. Some will prefer upright postures, some will prefer to lean back.

To put it bluntly - They make the seats for a test dummy to pass mandated crash tests ..,,, Comfort equals $ ... And the Maverick is not marketed for comfort ... from a seat packaging engineer of 40 years speaking lol
Prove me wrong ;)

Cheers

I hate how expensive shoes are. We have Lariat and wife and I love the seats. Skinny and not skinny.

I hate that shoes don't seem to hold up well. I bought a pair in June for daily use. The soles have worn completely smooth already. granted these were, "cheap" by today's standards at $75, but they get worn 5 days a week usually except for 2 weeks at the beach when they were left at home. No athletic shoes, casual shoes. Dockers made a shoe I loved and had bought 3 pairs that always were comfortable and good wear from them. The last pair I purchased, and it will be the last pair ever of Dockers, the soles worn out in weeks. Literally could rub my finger over it and it would rub off.
Lariat seats though are great for us and I am over 6' and over 200 lbs.

Yeah, I have the same issue with shoes now. You can't seem to find any that actually have rubber soles. The synthetic crap just crumbles away instead of wearing down slowly like rubber does. I've also found that most shoes offer zero protection from rain now. Again, it's due to synthetic materials instead of leather or canvas.
I have some Rockports that I got cheap at Ross (maybe $30) over a decade ago that are ratty but still wearable. They have leather uppers and rubber soles. I saw that Rockport still makes the same design, so I ordered a pair directly from them for like $75. Well, the uppers are still leather, but it looks and feels like plastic, and whatever is under it is clearly synthetic, because they don't breathe worth a damn. And the soles are synthetic. I barely wear them because they suck so bad compared to the old ones, so I guess they'll last a long time by default.

I'm hung up on Skechers go annually to Outlet stores which have clearance (limited sizes and styles) usually 30-50% off plus get 2nd pair half off that. Have to be open to availability though. May have to stop in several times to get a pair of pairs you like???

Since the closest outlets are over an hour away it's not worth the drive. I'm not a fan of skechers. I have bought a few pair and only 1 was comfortable wearing more than a couple hours. I don't know if it is the arch or toe shape but haven't been wowwed by them. I generally avoid outlets all together since I don;t find the prices very good. Having said that though finding a shoe store that doesn't sell just Nike or Croc is getting harder to find. I miss Hush Puppies and Hanover shoes

I am an hour away from nearest outlet and normally stop in coming or going to family Thanksgiving into outlet in Abilene Tx. I prefer to try them on because Sketcher has different arch/heel/etc designs by shoe design types. Go walk/ etc. I got one pair last year for $20 or so which have a very high arch support which I wear occasionally. Are different but not really uncomfortable. On some trips I will add a sketchers outlet stop.

All the Skechers I've bought have had synthetic soles that wore out after a few months.

The subject of shoes stinks! I find that the shoes of today have far less sole than in the past. 😂
