First part of the year they used that verbiage to regret to the basic cp360 features. For 2025 they gave every Maverick Lane Departure Assist which basically ping pongs you toward the middle as you get to the edge of the lane.
My 2025 w/cp360 doesn't do that. I just hear a tone and a message pops up to consider taking a break.

The stalk is where you activate the lane keeping system not Lane centering. This video explains 3 versions of co-pilot360 and how to get them.

Ok. Mine is activated but doesn't seem to assist. Maybe the road markings weren't that clear at the time so I'll experiment to get familiar with it. Thanks.

I've said it on Tim's videos and I'll say it here, Ford doesn't want to sell XLTs, clearly. They want the price effect of the XLs, and they want to upsell people on the Lariats.

check your MyView settings by hitting the menu button on the right side of the steering wheel.

you have options for alert, aid, or alert+aid. alert is a nudge in the steering wheel, kind of a vibration. there is a setting for the intensity of the alert.

there is no option for audible alert, just like the blind spot side mirrors. I like it that way, but many people coming from brands that chirp at you constantly apparently want that. I hate nuisance chirping.

I have a 22' XLT hybrid with the Lux package. With A-plan it was around 26k out the door. Very great value IMO. Though I like that I can now get 4K towing, and AWD with the hybrid motor, the fact that I cannot get ACC without going to the Lariat trim is one of things preventing me from getting a newer model. I definitely agree it should be an add on option.

I agree they make more on the Lariat but 50% off the Maverick built are XLT trim, 25% for Lariat.

I wish they would allow you to be able to get the FX4 package on the Lariat trim again. Can only get it on an XLT trim after the 2024 model year. It was a nice to be able to get a Lariat with the FX4 and 4K tow package. It gave you a little of everything.

Appreciate the insight, you'd certainly know much better than I would.

The lane centering is activated with the button middle left, not the volume button, in this photo. It looks like a steering wheel with lines on each side. If you don't have this button you don't have lane centering. It took me awhile to understand that the one on the stalk works when CC is off or on, the 1 on the wheel only works with ACC on and set above 40 mph.

Thanks fordvideoguy it must be Lane Departure so MavStangVa I don't have ACC.

markings are everything.

sometimes a center line and a curb are enough, other times not.

And other times asphalt worn through toe concrete is enough to confuse it. Or old paved over painted lines. Or . . .

Tim. How much would it be to get the components and the programming to do this ourselves? This may have been asked in a separate thread. Thank you in advance.

Wait, wait, wait. How good it is ?

How long you been using it, is loud, do you recommend it ?
They do a great job of keeping my backside from sweating. The Lariat has the faux leather upholstery which is much less porous than the cloth seats in the XL/XLT. Three speeds, easy to put on and easy to remove when the weather cools down. Ran the USB cable from the rear USB ports, so less cord entanglements around the front console.
Fan is quiet so that you won't hear it while driving, but you will hear it once you turn off the truck. That will allow you to notice it's still on and you can turn it off. Otherwise it will continue to operate for whatever time the Maverick continues to power the USB ports. I think it's 15 minutes.
