Sunday we drove the Maverick with the AC on.

Tonite I made a fast food run and started the truck thru the Ford app.

Got out side and the steering wheel and seat heaters were on and the heat was blowing at 76f.

Heat index yesterday was 102 here in San Antonio. First cool front blew through South Texas about 4 today. Dropped about 10 degrees. High tomorrow only 91 or so.....don't get your witches and pumpkins out just yet.........LOL

I purchased four new wheels & studded tires for winter. I will wait for the first snow to install. I will remove them in the spring. Good thing I have fender flares & mud flaps.

I used to hate winter driving but now I can't wait for the snow here in Michigan, love thrashing through the fresh snow, I'm pretty sure the tremor gives me more confidence than I should have in winter.

Ever have a stud from the car in front of you hit the windshield? I had that happen in Ohio because the guy had studded tires on in May and 80 degrees out.

I still drive for a living but , for the last five years or so, I head to Florida in January and mooch off of my no brother good in law.

My wife has been doing thst for over 20 years. Now she flies down and I give her a couple weeks then drive south. We spend 2-3 weeks together then drive back playing tourist.

I don't mind winter driving just hate driving a 75' long 80,000 lb truck in the bad weather. Way too many years of doing that when I HAD to.
